The Scouting report is out on melo... Be as physical and aggressive with him as possible. hand check him. push him. bump him, every time he touches the ball. And if the refs don't call it then your golden. Melo is not going to bait for fouls. It's just not how he plays basketball. He doesn't get the whistle from the refs, maybe, because he doesn't search for it and we don't make a big deal about it when he doesn't get calls.

Not sure this is a Melo specific strategy.

I mean sure... the strategy is nothing new. It's the 1990s Pat Riley strategy which was borrowed from Kentucky before that. But for melo... The strategy is quite effective compared to other All-star level guards. Nobody is doing this to Trae Young or SGA or harden etc... Because those Players would have their teams in the bonus in the first 4 minutes of the first quarter if that was the case. But for whatever reason these calls go ignored most of the time versus us... and melo.

then Melo needs to learn from those guys, because free throws are the most efficient way for a guard to score. He spends enough time getting body checked in the paint or contorting around contact, might as well learn to get rewarded for it

Flagg or Harper don't screw this up.

We already won our championship vs the Lakers. We have nothing else to prove this season. Let's lose out if we can. Keep the main thing the main thing. 8-)

LaMelo benefiting from two shooting fouls in 1 minute. Pigs are flying.

Stuff like this is why we not only don’t have a good culture with the team but fans as a wholesome suck. And that’s just honesty.

Look at the score bro.

The team is telling you what the plan is. Shame on me for wanting a better percentage chance at Flagg or Harper. Such a shame a fan sees the roster for what it is. Damn right I want a top 2 pick and I'm not afraid to admit it.

You’re a self admitted box score watcher. Anything you say I can’t take serious. If you want the extra 2 percent for the first pick don’t comment and come back during the draft.

And people wonder why long term posters don’t post anymore. Guys post wanting us to lose. So weird.

People don't post anymore because there is nothing to cheer for.

Once again you acting moody for no reason. You basically proving the point. Instead of ignoring what I posted before the game you chose to keep the topic about me as you have in previous game threads.

Talk about the game not me Mr. Moody. :D

coach obviously had a crack at half time, as they came out a lot more aggressive defensively in the 3rd quarter

I’m pretty sure if the team was actually good we’d have a lot more activity. The product they’re giving us right now is just so depressing it’s hard to get up for it.

LaMelo gets punched up every game like a bantamweight and we give Elfrid Payton serious rotation minutes. Sad state of affairs. It’ll get better soon hopefully

Charles Lee isn’t it. About to lose by 40 again.

We get blown out by 40 by Blazers.

Dude stands there and watches Lamelo get hacked all game while we lose by 30 and doesn’t get a tech? Instead makes LaMelo get his own tech. Dude just doesn’t get it.

All while we are 29th in offensive rating. Meanwhile Redick has Lakers as the 4 seed and the hottest team in the NBA over last 15.

I am truly utterly speechless. 9 point game with a min to go in the 3rd.

Somehow 40 point game in less than 10 minutes of game time. Can barely remember seeing anything like it. And the lineups we’re running are just horrific.

It's not just Lee. This team has a toxic, losing culture from the top to the bottom.
