quick, without looking, guess who leads the bobcats in FT%.

carroll?
felton?
anderson?
mcinnis?

wrong.

ryan hollins at 84%.

vincent said that the person with the highest ft% on the court would take technicals. does that mean that if hollins in on the floor he'll step to the line ahead of carroll and felton? that would be great.

carroll at 77%. wow!

what happened to my boy Hammer? He used to be automatic. Didn't he shoot like 93% last season? I guess it is contagious

It would have been nice if SV called out his players after last nights game for their poor free throw shooting instead of complaining about the refs.

Funny comment from Flip Saunders after the game...

Coach Flip Saunders, who said he never remembered one of his teams taking so many 3s, was especially upset at Hamilton's 2 of 9 shooting from 3.

"I thought he was at the state fair or something trying to win a stuffed animal," Saunders said.

They win, and their coach still finds fault with their players. I like that.

I'm pretty shocked with how badly Hammer's shooting his FTs. He's a blue collar guy; doesn't have a lot of athleticism, can't really create his own shot...poor handles, slow lateral. He's succeeded by working his tail off and doing the little things. As his FT shooting was one of his major contributions along with his spot up 3 ball it makes it very hard to give him PT when he's struggling in both of his strengths.

I like how he's started sniffing out boards, and the 3s aren't all his fault as we've not very well at all in setting screens for him (plus teams are ready for him now)...but we really need him to be automatic at the line.

JRich on the other hand has really stepped it up from the line as well as Crash. This is huge, as they're the guys who get their names called the most.
