If you guys don't think Okafor is the guy to lead your team into the future, then here's a package you could get.
Jason Smith (Young 7 footer prospect, nice player) Rodney Carney ( Young Athletic win who needs to get a chance) 09 Utah First willie green 2010 Sixers first

Thats not what we're looking for if we trade Emeka. Smith is a project and we already have bigs (Hollins and Davidson) who fall into that category. And I'm not sure how much time Carney would get next season because Ammo will be back. What we need is another point guard. I like the draft picks but they don't provide us with any immediate help until many years down the road. We can get a much better more immediate help package if we decide to trade Okafor.

Nothing of Philly unless its Iggy + Miller interests me, even then I'm not sure I would do it.

And you are supremely undervaluing "oak". You want us to trade him for projects? Have you ever heard of him before?

You're offering Jason Smith and then have the nerve to say we're "overvaluing" Mek as a defense when we refute that godawful trade idea????
Emeka Okafor
Career double/double with an EFF rating of 18.16

I might be crazy... but if you cut out Willie Green, I'd consider Okafor for Smith/Carney/ 091st 10 1st and maybe Ollie or Evans.
I can't believe I typed that, but we're such a terrible rebounding team, that probably Evans helps, and if Ollie can play at all, he's better than McInnis.
Edit: Nevermind, actually looked at Carney, Ollie and Evans. Emeka is worth more...maybe this could turn into a 3 way?

Two firsts from Philly isn't that bad, they're almost certainly going to be lottery picks. I would still prefer at least one player of substance. Iguodala+Miller is a bit much, (Miller/JRich/Iguodala/Wallace/Mohammed with Felton off the bench?) but there isn't a lot else in the way of substance up there. Maybe some trade with Dalembert?

Bad trade idea, Oakfor would help Philly so much that it would make the pick much worse. The rest of the package doesn't impress me much either. Stay pat cats.

Philly is not a good trade partiner IF the cats would be willing to shop EO

Hey man, if we didn't have a back log at the SF with Crash, Dude and Ammo I would still love to have someone like Hot Rod, Gerald Green, Travis outlaw or Dorrell Wright on the roster!!

I loved Hot Rod during the draft, but he has been so unimpressive since being drafted that he might not even get reupped in Philly.

I would also, but I seriously doubt if that would work salary wise.

Yeah it works salary wise. But I can't see the Lakers trading Farmar. They love him out there. If they were getting back someone like Kidd, then obviously Farmar would go.

me and slam should really bring back the rodney carney fan club
but i'd do odom/farmar or crittenton/first
