I'm not a normal poster here, more of a lurker, but i've been cheering for this team since Day 1, and was wondering if you guys think this team has what it takes to sneak into the 8th and final spot? I know we won't go on anything like a 8 game winning streak out of nowhere, but something like playing well and barely making the playoffs so that we have some momentum going.. and hey, it'll be a good match up vs the C's

It'll take a very, very strong February, because our March schedule is brutal. We need to be approaching .500 at the end of next month, which honestly I don't think we're going to do. It seems at least possible now though.

Need to pick it up now to have a chance

2008-09 with a 1 year smarter Sam Vincent and more MJ moves to build a winner.

This season I think the Bobcats could be more of a headache for team looking to get in and/or have an easy game that late in the season.

That we are discussing possible playoff contention again shows how much the team has improvement from early in the season.

The Best way for this team to get to the playoffs is to take baby steps.

-get over .500
-stay healthy
-at least 6 wins in February( 8 of 12 games are on the road )
-at least 8 wins in March ( 11 of 16 games are on the road. )
-at least 4 wins in April ( 4 of 8 games are on the road. )

-then playoffs

22 games are against Eastern Conference Teams
20 games are against Western Conference Teams
