Good move, he wasn't playing here anyway....
Do we get a roster spot? how does it work?

he is still on the roster and taking up a spot

no extra roster spot.
so now we are down to 9 healthy players. great job front office. no, really, great job.
but our lack of depth is beside the point, i just wanted to complain for a second. davidson to d-league was needed.

I'd rather him be getting some actual game experience down in the D than rotting at the end of our bench.
Of course I'd rather Piggy be selling hotdogs than taking up a roster spot and 2 1/2 mill a year too!!

10 healthy bodies and one open roster spot. What do you do?
Do you add a healthy player and get to the 15 player limit? No thats crazy, send one of the healthy guys down to the minors.
Not that the Bobcats are doing horribly but quick show of hands, how many people think they could run the Bobcats better and fix the Knicks?[/b]

I actually forgot Othella Harrington was on the roster. It's really inexplicable to me that we haven't signed SOMEONE for the 15th spot. Elton Brown? Allred? Junior Harrington? Andre Barrett, Randy Livingston? Doesn't Vin Baked need cash for booze? Why do we have two fat forwards with bad knees lingering on our bench???
AHHHHHHH!!!!

didn't warrant a mention in the Nba.com recap
http://www.nba.com/dleague/games/200801 ... score.html
But he put up Crash-like defensive stats, not scoring much is to be expected with a new team.
Next game is Saturday at 9pm, and I believe it's free for all to watch...

[OT rant] Can't say I recognize the name of many of his teammates besides Kasib Powell and Carl Elliott. Last Sunday I was working on a new thread for our board, essentially keeping tabs on D-league players that are better than Jeff McInnis and/or our 15th roster spot and both of these guys got a mention. I was using my wireless broadband modem but I worked on it from tabbed articles for so long that the modem turned off when I finally thought it was ready to be posted. UUUUGGGHHHH!!!
I ought to work on it again though, it only took so long because I had to research a lot of players that I wasn't at all familiar with.
[/rant]
Great first game for Jamario! Thought it was funny that Britten Johnson's position is listed as "null". New joke for McMinus's roster spot?
Starting at null... from the University of North CAROLINA... Jeeeeeff MCINNIS...MCINNIS

Wouldn't it be easier to list the guys who aren't better than McInnis?

Well it was organized into "definitely better than McInnis", "probably better than McInnis" and "certainly no worse than McInnis"

i'd love to see that walt.
btw - i am a copy paste machine while writing long posts. i'll keep a word document open for the really long ones. i've lost too many posts in the same manner.

I forgot the Dleague only really functions on the weekends and was thinking e4Nf6(did you just hit random keys?) was slacking off, but props for keeping us up to date. Not to sound like an echo, but I actually really do appreciate it!
22 pts on 50% shooting and 13 boards. I think Davidson has a place in the NBA. Very happy with his dleague play!

Love to know where he took those 20fga from on the court.

I imagine a lot of it was his 15 footer. He's athletic enough to get transition points and the team took 99 shots to 70, so that's quite likely.
OT: Fox canceled Arrested Development a while ago, how long did it take Ron Howard to get into good enough shape to play 26 minutes of dleague hoops?
