Considering his stats, he damn well should. He's a "name" player, as you said he is tied for the league lead in 3pters made, and is top 10 in 3pt% among players that have attempted at least 100 3's.

It would be a pretty big snub if he was left out.

The title of the thread should be:

"Will Jrich WIN the 3pt contest?"

He's got to be a lock to be there..................and a pretty good shot at taking it out IMO.

I don't know, it seems like he is more of a streaky shooter than a pure shooter, so I guess it depends whether he's "on" that night or not.

I also can't imagine that there's been too many slam dunk champions turned 3pt contest champions. That would be pretty unique.

I'm guessing he's at least good for the whole rack and money ball from both corners!!

His only problem will be getting tired. He's one of those jump shooters that really elevate when they shoot. Doing that all the way around can get you real gassed, real quick.

That's why someone like Dirk or Bargs would have such an advantage. They hardly leave the ground when they shoot.

Like you said though, if JSwish hits his groove he'd be damn hard to stop.

JSwish
Rashard Lewis
Bargs
Barbosa
McCants
Daniel Gibson

Kapono has to return as the defending champ, besides he and JSwish I'd like to see:

Al Harrington
Mike Miller
Daniel Gibson
Peja Stojakovic

If Peja wasn't interested because he's won it already (he would tie Craig Hodges and BB Jesus with 3 titles won, but they won consecutively)-- sub in one of Terry or Navarro

Jones has a really high percentage, so he'll make it if he keeps it up ahead of Harrington/Terry/Navarro, but he's been really good this year.
