If he didn't want to be with Memphis, I don't see why he'd want to be here.
We could use him, though.

most people on the general board seem to think he is headed to the celtics, suns, cavs or raptors. can't really blame him for those selections. all playoff teams and all in need of a backup pg.

He wanted out of Memphis because they openly said they would be playing Conley and Lowry in front of him which he felt was an insult.
The irony is that Conley has now hurt his shoulder so they are down to 1 pg in Lowry and could use mighty mouse!!
He has said he wants to go to a contender - which well and truly rules us out!!

The C's could really use him because Rondo looks like he's been playing injured. He would be a good addition for the Bobcats though. He can't defend very well, but I'm sure that wouldn't matter as much with Gerald Wallace and Okafor on his team.

I think he'll go to the Celtics.
OT (but since you mentioned him) I caught the tail end of the BOS-ORL game and Rondo looked pretty outstanding in that stretch. Bigtime defensive steal where he just "snatched" it right off the passer's hands, and some sweet moves against Dwight in the paint to get a basket. Faked him right out.

I can't see him coming here. He's trying to get a new contract after this season. Getting the ball to KG as opposed to Mek will make him look much better. Plus he gets to go to the playoffs and make more money.
I think our only hope right now for a point guard is in Seattle where they have possibly 3 on the block in Watson, Ridnour and West. Or perhaps with the Nets for Marcus Williams. Don't really want to spend much on point guard now until we know our draft position because it is PG heavy. So I'd much rather take a chance on West or Williams instead of Ridnour/Watson. Problem is I don't think we have anything to offer for West or Williams because they make so little.

I don't want him unless we get a new coach. The way Vincent coaches we would have a lineup like this:
PG: McCinnis
SG: Stoudamire
SF: Felton
PF: Richardson
C: Wallace
He won't come here anyway though so we won't have to worry.

Let Damon join Boston, gives Billups another PG to post up on.

Yep, Rondo is real good. I love that move he put on Dwight. Too bad the C's lost that one. Oh well can't win them all.

That's what scares me. I guess we could play one of the Allen boys on him(Ray or Tony). Believe me I'd rather have Cassell's ancient ass. But he hasn't been bought out and its slim pickings besides him out there.
