It's pretty hideous.
Is the background not loading up, or did they really think light-colored lettering and light-colored borders on a white background would be easy on the eyes?

HORRIBLE
The old site was much better. I can understand changing it up, but come on, what in Gods name is that? That is the most boring looking professional sports team website I have ever seen. The top of the page is too spread out and the wording on the main part is light you can barely read it.
And that ticket thingy at the top is too distracting. If you want to sell tickets, WIN games!
The Cats definitely did not go for the "deluxe package" here. More like the $1.99 special.

I don't think it works though.
I think the site has a better layout than the old one, which I thought was the most archaic in the league. They really ought to think about doing something about the text though. If they increased the saturation a little bit on the secondary pictures I think that would look nicer too.
You guys really super hate it? I never really went to the other one, but I avoided it for a reason. I could never find the information on it I was looking for.

Yeah it works if you have an account. Unless we're not talking about different things. You're talking about the login area that takes you to the my Charlotte Bobcats account page, right? Or it could not have been working or down when you tried it earlier. But it definitely works now.

I don't mind the layout or the white background. It's much better than the last site.
I was expecting a little more though since a bobcat rep said the site was delayed because the league wanted them to add some new options to it. I was kind of hoping for something similar to the blazers website.
And fats that was pretty much the first thing I looked for when I started searching through the site. Here are two other pics of jordan for you guys.

All i wanted is for it to be clean and simple to navigate. Imo they accomplished that. Everything is on one screen, no scrolling down like most other team sites and it's easily legible.
If they would make the game highlight videos clickable from the front page splash like the cheerleading one it'd be even better.

"oh my god oh my god oh my god.... you're jordan the lady cat, at which point i get maced in the face"

Just make sure Stephanie doesn't catch you cheating!

Baxter Village huh? I might have to hit up the YMCA over there and then head on over to the Starbucks...like every day. Trolling for Jordan. Baxter Village is REAL nice. Toured the models (houses not chicks) over there.
My cousin's best friend, his wife runs the Topcats. I've met her a few times.

fort mill is LOADED with hot chicks. i eat lunch over in baxter village almost every day. its ridiculous. of course, so is working downtown.
baxter village is one of the coolest neighborhoods i've ever seen. LOVE IT. i would love to have one of those two story charleston type houses with the double wrap-around porches. too bad they are like 500k. and my wife would then have a hellish commute to mint hill every day.
here i go... getting off topic again.
