Any trade options?

Any shot of us making a deal?
We really don't have any tradable options (unless we give up on EO which I don't think we will do) or expiring contracts (Piggys 2 mill means nothing to other teams unless he is a throw in).

Any thoughts?

I would like to see the Bobcats land DeSagana Diop from the Nets. Delonte West would be a nice fit as well.

I can't see Charlotte making any major moves, but I would like to see a move or two made.

the Raptor board is going nuts, apperntly B.C is offering Bargnani and
Parker for Okafor, they claim they heard it on the radio.

Bargnani and Morrison in one team that would need a sequel of the famous Adam Morrison comic No.1 (you know the one where Andrea wants revenge because he wasn't ROY because he tried to copy to do what dam did)

Not sure what Parker bring to us. Bargs is very interesting, but I would rather get a big to compliment EO, instead of trading him

Parker is a lockdown defender and would only help any lineup we throw him out with.

Bargnani I'd actually have larger qualms with.

There was a lot of talk on the Milwaukee forum about a recent team meeting that got ugly. Apparently half the team has asked for a trade. Maybe we steal a player from there.

If we could bring in Charlie V. without giving up too much that could be huge for us.

Excellent point Rich. How much would you be willing to give up for him? I'd give any expirings and a 2nd round pick, I just don't want to get rid of any of our 1sts, we need those too much.

That said, I see no reason why the Bucks give away the guy they traded TJ Ford for who's playing well to us for anything less than like Morrison or a 1st.

Anyone think we could get Bogut? He'd be a good paring with Emeka offensively, though our defensive achilles heel will be just as prominent as it ever is.

I think Bogut and Yi are the two guys the Bucks aren't going to want to deal. Probably Redd too eventhough I haven't heard much about him this year. I'd say out of the guys available for trade, Charlie V. would be our best target. We know Bernie likes him and would've drafted him instead of May. What do the Bucks think he's worth?

Guys I'd part with for Charlie V. easily:

Harrington
Mcinnis
DA
Hollins
2009 pick top 10 protected
2nd round pick any year
May

I'd be weary about trading Ammo still, so I think I'd have to pass on doing that. His value is so low right now but he could come out and avg 25ppg next year so who knows.

How about Harrington and 2009 top 10 protected pick? would that be enough or do we add May?

I would think that should be enough. He's regressed since joining the Bucks and averaging under 10ppg now.

I'd say we make it May and Harrington for Charlie V. or Harrington and 09 top 10 protected and it'd be enough.

I mean he splits mins with Yi, so it's hard to tell what he'd be averaging otherwise.

I don't really think I want to give up a 1st for Charlie and it's not because of the alopecia areata.

Charlie V was who I was thinking of I when I suggested trading with them.

He is one of the players who has asked for a trade.

I'm not sure how cheaply he will come though as he has put up some solid numbers when given some playing time and some on the Milwaukee board have been calling for him to start.

I think he will have to cost a draft pick.

and I think our inevitable lottery pick in either of the next two years will yield a better player than Villanueva, so I think it's silly to make a trade for him.

Agree with that statement. I can't justify giving up a pick this year or an unprotected one next year for him.

I'm pretty confident that we can take a PF with our next two lottery picks and a PG with out next two 1st round picks and find a keeper at each position.

Harrington for Elson/Spurs

I like the idea . With a minor change . Help them out and they can help us out also . Harrington for Elson / Rights Tiago Splitter.
Tiago Splitter would be great as our PF . For the Bobcats .

Thanks.

I added in their 1st to "help us out". Considering the Suns frequently sell their pick for around 2-3 million I figured that would be fair since the Spurs would be saving around 2.5 million. Best part is it would only cost us about 400k.

Reading on their board it appears they don't want to part with Splitter unless it's "a very good deal". He was picked 28th so the "value" is pretty equal, but I have no idea if there's any buyout issues.
