I'm a little surprised a shot to the face did so much, especially going laterally like it did. Broken bone or something maybe, but a concussion surprises me.

Hopefully it's not too big a deal.

That's terrible. I'm guessing your season is over now?

It was over whether Wallace was playing or not. We're just no good without depth and intelligent coaching.

get well gerard. that was a scary moment. it was silent in the arena for 10 minutes.

4 concusions for wallace as a bobcat, this one being the worst, grade 3.

amenesia followed. he didnt fully wake up until the got to the hospital.

take your time getting better gerald. there is no need to rush back just to lose.

He didn't fall like he was unconscious from the blow. It wasn't like boxing or else his head would have hit the floor. Thats what I was worried about... Im glad he's going to be ok.

yeah, he was obviously conscious during the fall. he even rolled over immediately after hitting the ground. i guess he blacked out a few seconds after he was on the floor. he was definitely out cold for the rest of the time he was on the floor.

It did not look like that bad of a play. Sort of similiar to a football player getting one easily because of past concussions.

Guessing that his season is over. I had PCS after my first and was not able to drive a car for two months.

i wonder how much this hit will change his psyche once he finally returns. you have to think that eventually he will lose some of that edge that makes him so relentless. its only natural after having so many dangerous falls and hits to the head.

Of all the hits, I expected the Granger hit to shake him up the most but after a rocky couple of weeks afterwards he was back to his old self in no time.

I doubt he has it in him to play any other way, even if he wanted to.

Heck, he even goes at it in practice like that!!

Gerald is having PCS symptoms. He will be tested by a neurologist later this week. Get well Gerald.

Now they are spinning the Crash story the same way they did the Curry/heart story and the TJ/spine story.

I hope this is just hyperbole.

is anyone else here secretly hoping wallace does not play another game until october of 2008? no need to risk his career by bringing him back this season.

Yes.
My picks:
2020 Draft (3rd pick) - Tyrese Haliburton, Devin Vassell, or Onyeka Okongwu
2021 Draft (11th pick) - Moses Moody

No hoping about it, I don't want Crash to play again. We can't realistically bring him back and say "be careful" because that's pointless and we know it would never happen. I'm not sure if an extra four or five months would make a relapse less likely but it can't hurt either. Nothing to do with tanking, I just don't want Gerald to take permanent mental damage diving for loose balls in games we have a 10% chance of winning.
