Not sure if Cats fans care of not - different boards seem to have different takes on following the players they traded. But if you are interested, Brandan has finally started playing important minutes for the Warriors. He's started the last two games with Biedrins out. Officially he's the PF, but on the defensive end he's been the center.

Warriors fans are very happy with what they see. He's active and bothers a lot of shots. If he's in the vicinity the opponent fg% is down sharply. He's also a very good and smart rebounder, either getting the board or keeping it alive to a teammate. He is a lefty and has a smooth lefty half-hook that is very accurate within 6 feet. No one can bother the hook shot at all.

He's a little slow to react to interior passes, but it looks to me like that is an experience issue, as his hands are great and his reaction time in general seems good. Biggest surprise to me is open court ball handling, which is very good.

Thanks for the update. However, I don't think anyone here would go back in time and undo the JRich trade. JRich has made an otherwise entirely unwatchable season occasionally bearable.

Plus, if I know our coaching staff (and I think I do), whatever positives you are seeing from BWright we would not be seeing.

I'm not trying to suggest that the Cats would want to undo the trade. I think the trade was good for both teams. Just giving the heads up that Wright is starting to play in case anyone wants to check him out.

I saw him the other night against Philly floppy and he did look good. He came on an in about 5 mins had scored well, boarded well and blocked some shots.

He's still rail thin but there is obvious potential there. The GSW concept is the best situation for him as he gets up and down so damn quick!

The Washington board has a tracking of their formers on other teams. Its a topic. Problem for Charlotte is its; Jason Kapono, Brevin Knight, Jason Hart, Primoz Brezec, Walter Hermann...

Beyond maybe Walter, I couldn't really care less.

GSW are a great situation for Wright. His biggest flaw is his strength, so being in a position where he mostly just has to run around is to his advantage. Hopefully he'll do well for you guys.

Kapono looked horrible last night. I'd much rather have Carroll than him. Kapono may shoot a little better from 3, but Carroll isn't a total lackey when he isn't being spoonfed the ball and has to be wide open to score.

Primoz Brezec will sign with the Clippers or something next season, but everyone will realize that he isn't worth a damn and he should go play in Europe.

I forgot Jason Hart was still in the league, honestly.

BK will be out of the league in a few years, but I appreciate his time as a Bobcat. I think we would have...oh 20 wins if we kept him this season (sorry Hamilton).

Not sure if Herrmann gets signed to a NBA team next season, but hes always welcome back here. I just don't see a spot with all the forwards we have (Wallace, Jamison, Carroll, Morrison, Dudley, May, Davidson, Okafor, etc.)

I guess thats it for former Bobcats, huh. Well I guess Eddie House, Jake Voskhul and Jumaine Jones, if he is still in the league.

Walter Hermann- My guess is Detroit chooses him over Hayes for next season. Joe Dumars really seems to like him.

Primoz Brezec- Some center desperate team. Minnesota.

Brevin Knight- I think the Clippers will trade him. But hes cheap enough to keep.

Jason Hart- Kevin Ollies' biggest fan.

Jason Kapono- He needs to be traded to a team like Houston.

Jumaine is out of the league. Failed in Phoenix last year and no one really cared to sign him.

You can kind of see why its hard to care about any of them.

I don't really count guys that we had their draft rights or guys traded before they played a game (the hawks pachulia and the cavs pavlovic).

Lol, I completely forgot about Bogans. Bogans was so disinterested playing here, that I was disinterested about his being a player in the NBA.

How is Malik Allen still playing? And I thought Ely was cut by SA.

Signed with the Nets for depth. For some reason HE IS THAT GUY. The big man with minor skills (his case, decent range) that every team seems to sign (re: $700,000).

Elys a Hornet...another depth guy. Ely has a cheap player option for next year.

Allen will probably be in the league next year.

Hah, Bogans is probably the best player on that list. I never had anything against him either, he was a quality SG who could defend.

I doubt it, Wright has a much higher ceiling then Noah. Noah at best is a more athletic Anderson Varejao.

I'm happy that we didn't keep the pick. Not just because of J-Rich (i like the trade too), I didn't want Brandan Wright, i didn't want Noah, I wast impresed by Hawes and I can't see how we would did better reching for a swingman. Baesides swingmen only Thorton, Law and Stuckey were availeble. I'm glad we avoid ther necassity of choosing among them.

Given the history of how this team drafts, I have to think Noah would have the pick.

I wouldn't have minded Hawes, because he is so young and because this team was/is that desperate for a Center.

And, since the team is so willing to play small ball in the backcourt (well, overall too) why not Acie Law and have Felton "play" off guard.

The crazy thing is at the time I really was hoping Charlotte would trade down with, say Philadelphia, and get two 1st round picks (plus what became the Dudley pick).

Probably would have been 12 and 30, which in this fantasy would have become;
12- Rodney Stuckey, 22- Jared Dudley, and 30- Nick Fazekas (yes i realize whats become of him, but Glen Davis really reminded me of Sean May) or Josh McRoberts.

the bobcats did not want another project. they wanted someone who could contribute ASAP, hence why they traded the pick and also why i believe they would have selected noah over wright. the cats were very impressed with noah from what i remember.

Well you certainly got someone who could produce right away. It's a shame the way the season has worked out, but I'm glad that it wasn't Jason's fault.

The Cats also lean towards players from winning college backgrounds, and while Wright's UNC team was no slouch Florida's back-to-back titles would almost certainly make Noah our pick. I'd prefer Wright personally and I'm glad he landed on a team that plays to his strengths. I was surprised it took Nelly this long to give him some consistent PT, their team has done incredible considering they removed J-Rich (major contributor) and added a player who hardly got any burn until recently.
