It doesn't matter either way because we wont be able to afford him.

He does want to play here, he's said it every time he's been presented with the question. The question is would he take less to play here, like the mid level exception for example.

You're kidding yourself if you think he'd be willing to do himself out of $20+ mil just to play here - and not even have a shot at a ring.

That's what I've maintained since this rumor began... it's less money, to not win?

We can win the ultimate championship!

-Hire Larry Brown
-Resign Okafor before the draft
-Offer 8 mil over 3 years to Jamison
-Draft Rose
-???????????????

-PROFIT!!!!!!

Rose/J-Rich/Wallace/Jamison/Okafor

Predicted record: 59-23

If the Wizards manage to talk Jamison down to 3-4 years at what he's worth, which would be best for them anyway, he could become a Bobcat eventually just not this season. At that point he could probably be a savvy role player on a playoff squad but that's basically the only realistic scenario in which he becomes a Bobcat.

I don't like to break some other's dreams, but Jamison is going to get the big money in the offseason, and he deserves it after the best season of his career. If he is not going to remain in Washington, surely he is not going to sign for a small market club like you or like us (i'm a bucks fan, as you can see), unless he receives a huge contract.

yeah your prolly right, but i feel bad for any team that signs jamison to a long expensive contract. hes good but hes not that great. could be shardlike, hugely overpaid 3rd option
