Richardson was 3-of-7 on 3-pointers to finish with 243 this season, the fourth-most in NBA history.

i have to say, i was very impressed with richardson this season. the guy is better than i expected and i love it attitude.

i hear he always works on a part of his game each off season. this summer, i'd really love to see him work on his passing and ball handling. not really sure how you work on passing in the summer, but that is the next step for him to take towards becoming a complete player.... the one we desperately need. i want to see him average over 4 assists next season.

I noticed Steph Ready asked him last night which part of his game he's going to work on over the summer and he didn't even hesitate to answer. It shows he's got the right attitude. He said he wants to be a better ball handler and get better at creating for other guys. That's awesome. Also if he was playing like he was post all-star, pre-all star I think he would've been our first ever all-star. I'm expecting big things next year, hopefully with a new coach.

What he's done with his free-throw shooting in the latter half of the season has been amazing.

He's shooting 75% this year, compared to 65% last year, and seems to be getting BETTER and better at it. He's been on fire from the free-throw line the last 10 games.

I'm very impressed by this because this is an area where so many pros SUCK inexplicably and show little desire to improve. JRich SUCKED in this area. And now he's pulled himself up to average. And I think next year he will be flirting with 80% from the line.

Good trade, Bobcats!

The GSW fans say he improves on something every offseason, but it looks to me that he really expanded his game this year. He's looked to run, looks for the open man and he looks for the big guys.

He should be wearing a mask and cape.

If the rest of the team buys into what he is trying to do, and they are starting to, we are going to be all the better for him being here.

I feel more confident going into next year than I did going into this past one, but there's still the Vincent factor which I believe would definitely hold us back about 2-4 places in the conf. standings for next season.

He started slowly but he really got into a groove around mid-year. Couldn't be happier that he's on the team.

He has already been working on his passing. I've been watching and it has gotten better. I'm not sure he'll ever have good handles no matter how hard he works. There are certain things that are hard to improve late and handles is one. But I can see he loves to make the great pass and I think he can continue to get better there.

Just as an aside, it's not handles that are hard to improve late. It's actually ridiculously easy to work on your dribbling ability. What's difficult to work on late is the mid-action decision-making that you need in order to effectively employ your various isolation moves.

By and large, fancy dribbling isn't all that common in the NBA; more often, it's anticipation and fakes and reading your defender that get you by him, not 8 crossovers, a behind-the-back wraparound into a stepback. It's all about mental approach and letting the game slow down for you, which is really hard when you're trying to approach a tactic outside of your conventional approach.

I'd look to work him out of the post more often, since he's comfortable with that. Developing face-up iso skills is nice but he should be focusing on powering small guards and forwards around the rim.
