Well, thankfully, the Bulls won, and so will finish one game better than us.
As a result, we will now be the #8 pick (unless the crazy happens and someone behind us wins the lottery). We will have a 2.8% chance of getting the #1 overall pick.
Our odds of getting #2 and #3 are approximately 3.3% and 4%, respectively, meaning we have an overall chance of about 6% of getting Beasley OR Rose, and about a 10% chance of getting our pick of whoever we want after those 2.
6%, gentlemen... approximately the odds of flipping "heads" 4 times in a row. Doesn't sound so unlikely that way, does it?
