Bobcats War Room -2008 Draft -Pick # 8

Post#1 » by August Us Seazr » Fri Apr 25, 2008 12:45 am

OK, we finished 23rd in the standings this year, so I guess unless we get lucky in the lottery, this will be our pick. I HOPE. No 9th, No 10th, No 11th, PLEASE!!!!!! So vote carefully on this one. Get the guy you want.

Names off the board: Michael Beasley-1st, Derrick Rose-2nd, OJ Mayo-3rd, Blake Griffin-4th, Anthony Randolph-5th, Jerryd Bayless-6th, and our most recent winner- Kevin Love, who survived a 3-3 tiebreaker scare.

Now for tonight's voting. Again 24 hours to vote. Time to get busy.
In loving memory of Barbara Hickman Taylor 07/20/1955-11/27/2010. Rest in Peace Sweet Lady!

Pick 8 is far enough for this guy to drop. Some folks think he should be the 3rd guy off the board. I won't go that far, but by far he is BPA now.

Brook Lopez.

I went with Donte Greene here. It's a bit of a reach but he could be a big time player with maturity.

I suppose that's the write-in vote. I went Lopez again, at this point it would be crazy value.

Write-in = trade, to me :)

That's the first time I saw Roy Hibbert...boy, forgot all about him. I'm guess he sucked it up this past season? Is that the reason why he's so low, or is it because he might go back to college for another season?

His season was a little worse than last year. Mostly the problem is that he didn't get any better, his team played worse now that Jeff Green is gone, and now everyone's convinced he's a scrub. He's not a lottery pick, for sure.
