I'm unsure why they would review McMay, Touche and Pig Boy but not Dude, Ammo and Twiggy?

They don't do rookies or sophomores, apparently.

Just re-read the piece, and there are some glaring problems with it IMO:

On Hammer:
Few players in the League shoot a better percentage from the line than he does, which would pay bigger dividends for him if he could draw more fouls

He shot 80% from the line this season?

On Felts:
One of the best point guards in the League at throwing full court bounce passes.

Really? I have never seen this full court bounce pass the writer speaks of?

Absorbs contact better than most point guards.

But doesn't finish

On EO50:
Not only strong enough to defend the post, but has the athleticism to step out and defend the midrange as well.

Can someone tell Chris Bosh that?

does a good job of shielding the ball and finishing with contact

Hmmmmmmmm?

Has nice form on his jumper, and has consistent range out to about thirteen feet.

Hmmmmmmmm V.2?

On Crash:
A tremendous athlete who is one of the League

Ahhhhh, I see. That makes sense then.

I wouldn't call Crash "Lazy" on the ball, he just has lousy anticipation. His feet are fast enough to get there and he wants to, but he doesnt see it fast enough. He also isnt very physical or strong man-to-man which hurts him alot. Btw, this the main reason I think Crash at the 4 is untenable.

You raise an interesting point about his "Left-shoulder" jump shot...

Most people are right-handed and right eye dominant or left-handed and left eye dominant. So their jumpshots go straight down the line. I've always wondered if Crash was one of the people with differing eye dominance and handedness. This would explain the funky jumpshot....

Or maybe he just has a funky jumpshot... who knows....

Crap! I just found out I am right eye dominant and left handed. Maybe I understand where Crash is coming from a little more now. Maybe I should have concentrated a little more on baseball, archery, and bowling as a kid.

Wow I just tried all of those tests... none of them worked. All the ones with the hands, if I focus on the distant object, I obviously see two versions of my hands, and if I focus on my hands, there are two versions of the object, so I don't know how those are supposed to work.

The stereoscopic one didn't work either. I do, however, always close my left eye when looking through a camera or telescope or whatever, so I suppose I'm right-eyed?

focus on the object....

Wiki does a crappy job explaining this test.....

1 Put your hands together like how you would hold a base-ball bat.

2. Now spread your fingers a tiny bit so you can see through it like a telescope...

3. look through the "telescope" with both eyes open and aim it at a small object....

4. Hold it in place and alternately close your left and right eye, you will only be able to see the object with one of your eyes, that eye is "dominant"

The Better Basketball DVD's explain it much better than me.......

Anyone who gets a chance to talk to Crash MUST ask him about this for me.

...still, when I hold up the telescope, I can see two versions of it, if I'm focusing on the far one. So I have to "choose" which one to line up.

Maybe I'm ambieyed?
