Any views on Villanueva?

A talented (if underachieving) PF on the market is something we are at least supposed to consider as a franchise. Anyone have any opinions on what it might take to get him or if he's even worth looking at?

Other than he creeps me out a little, I don't know enough about him to have a real opinion.

I actually Like Charlie V as a player...heard his work ethic was questionable coming into the league, but I haven't heard Bucks fans complaining about him at all. A coach like Brown would really push a talented guy like him.

He is definately worth taking a look at. He plays a little soft IMO b/c for his size he should get more stuff in the post. Alot of the time he settles for jumpers.

I wouldn't break the bank on him by any means, but with a change of scenery maybe he would produce closer to his potential than what he has in Mill.

Depends on what it would cost Charlotte. Hes 3 years into his career and his numbers are pretty similar every season. The 1 year he played 29 minutes he got 13 points a game. The other 2, he got just shy of 12 points a game, averaging about 25 minutes a game.

He kind of seems like the "tim thomas of Pfs".

I liked the idea of the Bobcats getting him when he was drafted ( a trade up, from 13) if that means anything.

The Bucks need a SF?

Send them Ammo, we take Charlie V.

I'd take a long look at that deal Slam. My only concern is that Charlie V is a matador on defense and struggles to defend a tree at the best of times. Having Okafor behind him would be a must.

True, yet Ammo is even worse. Somehow I doubt the Bucks really want to do that deal.

lol, you're really trying to get rid of Ammo lately. Ammo is damaged goods, we're better off keeping him for what he's probably worth right now and hope he has a break out year and some better luck.

Don't like Villanueva as a starter...

Off the bench would be cool, though
