Why is this forum so dead?

I just don't understand......we have a new hall of fame coach coming in that likes to mold his own roster. We have so many unknowns on this team and a top 10 draft pick. However, this forum is still dead....the only new topics are basically someone from another board or me. Check out every single other board....no one is as dead as us. What's the deal? Is there another Bobcats message board I don't know about......if so let me know.

I don't know about anyone else, but I'm chock-full-of-hate right now.

Mix with occasional sides of ennui, and you get... a posting Sahara, sorry.

There's really nothing to talk about other than who will we draft and potential trades. It also doesn't help that the Charlotte news organizations put minimal coverage out for the Bobcats unless something big is happening either. I would start by asking the Observer to get a real beat writer and let the dominos fall into place from there.

Personally, I've gotten SOOOO tired of reading about Felton.

This is why the board is dead.

1. Agree with above ... having every other thread turn into a felton debate is old.

2. Past 2 years have sucked a lot of the excitement about this team out of me.

3. Not drafting high enough to really get me excited.

4. Nothing is really happening now. Brown is here. Draft is nearly a month away. Next season is way off in the distance....

1- This is a make or break season for Felton, we get it. How much can you really talk about it when games aren't being played.

2- Teams not in the playoffs, the draft hasn't happened yet, and free agency isn't happening yet.

3- Assistant coaches being named are the biggest thing happening right now. How much do you really want to talk about that?

4- Not to mention, this board doesn't really have the following that others have.

5- Plus if you go on the trade board. There is NEVER a fair trade involving the Bobcats. Its either horribly biased towards Charlotte or the other way around. Of course there is also the random "Larry Brown and MJ are Tarheels, so here is a trade that adds another Tarheel to the Bobcats roster" offer. I would just like to see one that seems somewhat fair.

So hopefully this team drafts a big name that slips, signs a pretty good MLE free agent, signs Gerald Green for summer league, and makes some small deal with the Knicks. That will draw some attention.

I'm excited about next season. Cats are going to make the playoffs and put up a fight in round 1. That will be a huge step forward for them.

for the record... this forum isnt that dead compared to many forums on this board, right now. certainly our forum doesnt compare to the realgm juggernauts like the raptors, knicks and bulls, but i'm not sure i would enjoy posting on any of those boards. way too many posters.

in the past 3 days 18 threads on this board have replies. that is more than 14 other team boards on this site. we are hardly the deadest board around, at the moment.
