We being the Raptors, we need a allstar 2 or 3 so either richardson, wallace or the stretch being Okafor. Heres what we have everything outside of bosh can be had
1) two starting calibur point guards one of allstar calibur in jose
2) former #1 in bargnani who had a bad year but runner up in ROY last year
3) 2 time 3 point champ in kapono
4) 20 mill+ in expiring contracts
5) biggest bargins in the NBA in moon
Would any of that packaged be enough to land either wallace or richardson?

Here is the response:
You want one of our best three players but we can only get your fringe players back.
How do you think this might turn out?
It would be like us saying:
We being the Bobcats, we need an allstar PF so Bosh would be great. Heres what we have everything outside of Richardson and Okafor can be had
1) A starting calibur point guard in Felton
2) former #3 in morrison who had an injrued year bad year but showrd great things in SL last year
3) Awsome 3 point shooter in Carroll
4) Amazing rookie SF with a vet approach to the game in Dudley
5) Gerald Wallace who is on a very fair contract, is young and dynamic at the SF position
Would any of that packaged be enough to land Bosh?
You are asking for an allstar 2 or 3 but aren't willing to give up enough to get one.
That's not how it works.

wallace for calderon would be a fair deal, imo, but i'm not sure LB would prefer jose's passing over feltons defense.
i'd want to have a second deal lined up for felton though. one that would land us a starting calibur pf.

really? while calderon had a great year (my best FA fantasy pick up ever!!), you would give up wallace for him? is it just a concern of injury on wallace's side or do you really believe calderon is a game changing PG?
i couldn't agree to that trade. wallace brings too much to the table even if he is a little duplicative with JRich.

I agree with FFP. I wouldn't give up Crash for Jose. I'd rather just ride it out and see what we have with Felts than move Crash for Jose.

Agreed.
Caleron (has no D)/Swish/Ammo/stud PF that Felts brings even though his trade value can't be high after the Idiot/Mek
We probably have what would amount to the 2009 all defensive team right there.
Raps don't have anything I want that they'd be willing to trade for either of our starting wings.

i would only do that deal if i had a coach that wanted jose's style at pg. i'm not sure LB could tolerate jose's poor defense, so its probably not even worth discussing.
but i do believe jose is a great talent at pg and of equal value to crash. great passing pgs are rare.

Wouldn't mind getting Humphries or their 1st. I wouldn't trade anything they want for that though.
Bobcats and Raptors just don't make good trade partners right now.

interesting...
however, i dont think i could stomach losing both crash and dudley. dudley has to stay if we lose wallace.
ultimately though, i just dont think calderon is a good fit in charlotte now that we have LB.

the reason i added Dudley is because toronto lets go of moon who is essentially dudley but with better numbers

Moon is NOTHING like Dudley!!

Felton/Mohammad/Wallace/Dudley
for
Calderon/Moon/Harrington
No thanks.
I like Moon, but you're neglecting to mention that he plays almost 28 minutes per game vs. Duds' 19. Per 36 their stats are pretty close...Moon gets him by a half a rebound (tho Duds is a better offensive rebounder). Points are the same at 11. Duds gets him by a half an assist.
Regardless, their games are nothing alike. Moon is like a poor man's Crash, Duds is the high BBIQ guy that always seems to find the right spot. We need to hang onto him, or at least not treat him as filler.

he didnt say one was better than the other... he said they were not alike. they are different players in terms of playing style. moon is much more athletic, where dudley is more of a cerebral player. moon is more like wallace than he is like dudley. however they both are tweener sf/pf, both play defense and both seem to provide energy and are willing to be complimentary players.
but while we are comparing... here's a big difference - moon 28 minutes per game; dudley 19 minutes per game.
we LOVE duds here in charlotte and i believe most of us would just rather hang onto him... much how i suspect most raptor fans feel about moon.

Not only have Spectre and Fats nailed everything that makes Moon and Dude different, lets not forget that Moon is 28 years old and Dude is only 22 years old.
Again, they are nothing alike.

I'd rather send Ford over for Wallace [if Charlotte is at all interested in getting a new point guard], because if we sent Calderon out that would mean that our three best players after the deal are Bosh, Wallace and Ford, and we'd be lucky too see all of them suit up for more than 65 games a piece.
Is there any sort of trade Charlotte fans can see centered around Ford [and the Toronto pick?] for Wallace?
