Andrew Bynum
Hoopsworld was discussing how the Lakers should trade Bynum given that Gasol seems to be a great fit for the triangle offense. I tend to agree that Bynum would slow the Lakers down and likely would mess up the great chemistry they have built up during the playoffs.
Assuming he passes a rigerous physical, I'd love to make a run at him. I leave all the salary cap/contract stuff to spectre to figure out (perhaps that kills a deal, I don't know). I know that still leaves us a problem with Mek playing the 4, but I think I'd be willing to work with that.
I know the triangle needs shooters (think Paxon/Kerr/Hodges from Jordan's days in CHI), so perhaps something that includes Matty or Ammo. Maybe our #9 and one of those guys? Doubt that interests the Lakers given Bynum's production the first half of the year, but a knee injury in a big man greatly diminishes his value.
Thoughts? Am I crazy?

That said, I also worry about that knee. It was only minor at first, then several weeks, then surgery. It just did not heal right. I have serious fears with the knee and would not make a run at him costing us players and our #9 pick. But, I am always on the cautious side regarding injuries to big men.

Id b willing to trade any combination of players and the 9 for Bynum. That dudes got some freaking long arms and a sweet touch around the rim.
U know they would want Felton bc pg is really the only position they need any help at once Fisher is gone.
Oh yeah, there used to be a guy who played center in the triangle offense and if im not mistaken he won some championships for Phil's three man offense. Let me think what was his name ....
