The Injury Prone situation

Post#1 » by Jujuba69 » Thu Jun 5, 2008 3:14 pm

Serious, anyone knows something about S. May condition?

Is he recovered? Is he going to play someday?

Do you guys believe this?

Iam losing my fatih...

He could be such a factor as a scorer.

Wish he can stay health for 60 games, atleast...

Fat....he may already be broke. His new hot spot is Suite in the new Epicentre. It's a nice place....he was on the table next to us last Friday and when he went to pay for table service his credit card got rejected. He gave the waitress another card and it was all good though.

Check out my post under the Bonnell topic. Would you do that rumored trade?

Its funny to me how soooo many people on this board take shots at Sean May all the time, like you live with him and know all about his personal life. Do to my job i see him quite regularly, about 2X a month and he doesnt look any worse than what I would expect from a guy who hasnt been able to play ball for almost 2 years and was never a physically fit guy anyway....i dont give a damn about his size or weight, what this team needs is an inside presence anyway, as long as his scoring & rebounding skills havent deteriorated in my eyes he's welcomed back its gonna take time to get in game shape after a 2 year hiatus anyway...to me he is the X-factor becuz unless we get a vet big man this offseason what May brings to the table is gonna be the difference from us gettin to the playoffs or having to start over cuz if we dont make it this year this particular group isnt going too and its time to start over, what May can bring is what we lack a true inside rebounding & scoring presence....the times that he has been able to play we have been a totally different team.

That's promising.

You're not going to get the chance to see whether his skills have deteriorated or not, if he doesn't start taking better care of himself and get himself into shape. Knee problems are no joke, much less when you're as fat and out of shape as Sean May has been.

So, if you want to see him out on the basketball court, you should start caring about his size and weight.

I do - considering not only does his size and weight put added pressure on his already suspect knees which could lead to even MORE time riding the pine but his size and weight allows guys like Bosh to beat us up like we owe him money.

So many jokes to be made here. I only wish you saw him 2x a week instead, more jokes to be made if that were the case....Sooo....if you see him 2x a month, then must mean you are potentially a:
- strip club bouncer
- part time pizza delivery guy
- velvet sport coat designer
- bus boy at any any "all you can eat joint"
- his accountant (needs cash twice a month to keep up "swinger" lifestyle)

You certainly don't work at Weight Watchers or a Gold's Gym.

Felton for Prez....very funny, but actually Im neither of those but you seem to know sooo much about they guy and where he hangs out what are you a Sean May stalker....that type of post is exactly what I was talking about...know-it-all idiots speaking outta turn, how do you know he hangs any of those places, maybe becuz your there?! or are you just assuming? When is the last time you've seen or had a conversation with him?

Big slam & W_Hamilton points taken...i care about his weight too in relation to it affecting his ability to play, i meant from the standpoint of all the "info" about his being so big and outta shape what do you expect when he has been very limited in what he can do for 2 yrs....

Just trying to have a little fun. You lobbed the softball up there, someone had to take a swing at it.

For what its worth, just because you have a bum knee doesn't mean that you can't lose weight or at least redistribute it. Professional trainers and nutritionists are pretty darn good at what they do if the person they are working with is devoted.

You should note that this group takes a lot of shots at Morrison too, but nobody questions his work ethic. Why don't they? Because he hasn't given anyone cause to. May, by merely trying to have a good time, has perpetuated an image that folks view as unprofessional. Is that fair? Certainly not, he's a young guy going out on the town. However, in his position, he could learn a few things from Morrison by merely laying low.

in terms of actual basketball skill, i have always and will always defend sean may and his selection at 13. he is a fantastic player, when he plays.

as for the other stuff, its time for may to prove us wrong. people will stop making jokes when may starts producing on the court. its that simple.
