Bobcats War Room - 2008 Draft - Round 2 - Pick # 35

Post#1 » by August Us Seazr » Sun Jun 8, 2008 2:48 am

And our hit parade of fine young NBA-wannabe talent continues. At # 34 on our top 60 is none other than Joey Dorsey of the Memphis Tigers. He is our third honoree from Memphis' national runner-up. But alas, he has warts. Offensively challenged, you know. If he becomes a Bobcat, he will need to shed his offensive shyness. We need him to be a mean dude in the paint!

Tonight, eight warmed-over repeats plus a new guy vie for your vote! You could be that person who gets the player we really need over the top at this point, which could be achieved by trading up with the L.A. Clippers. Not saying it will happen, but stranger things have happened.

Now, while you guys are running down the list, trying to figure out who helps us and who doesn't, do pay attention to one thing. We again will have a new head coach- which means a new system. We not only have to figure out how to stop the bleeding at the two big frontcourt positions, and at point guard, but whomever we plug into those spots HAS to be someone that Larry Brown will love having on the team. It won't be easy for any rook to see playing time, but we need someone who will see it.

That said, go forth and bring home the good one (at 35).

Vote once.
Vote right.
Vote by 10 PM tomorrow night. (Sunday)
Claw ON!

Did anybody get the plate number on that bus? Serge Ibaka, on the first night in the nine, flattens existing competition. He therefore moves into the pick # 35 slot. When you have fans............hoooooo boy!

We now close on # 35 and in a little bit we start # 36. See you there!
