Not likely to find any takers for Lee straight up for #9. But if you threw in Nate R. with Lee for Othello (expiring) and #9, it would be worth listening to a little more. It still wont get too many Charlotte fans to take it, but some might.

Ummm... I think I'd take this. Lee is one of the best rebounders in the game, works hard, gets a lot of easy baskets... I don't think we're going to draft a much better player than Lee at #9, especially if Love and Randolph are off the board.

I agree with Paydro. I woudl rather have some throw in. Lee is an expiring, I would rather have him locked for more years than just one year.

No way the Knicks give up Lee for the 9th. He's one of the few Knicks the fans actually like.

Probably not for the Knicks. Lee is probably a top 5 pick in this year's draft.

"Lee is a top 5 pick in this years draft".

Way to go, 3 years into your NBA career this former 4 year college player is a top 5 pick. All right.

To the guy that offered Mardy Collins instead of Robinson...Mardy doesn't belong in the NBA.

Lee is a pretty good player, and the right deal (dump May or Harrington) would probably make it worth it...but I just think there will be better offers.

I would trade the 9th for Lee. I would also feel certain I will eventually regret it because someone drafted at 9 or beyond will likely be better than Lee.

Can Lee guard athletic 4s?

From what I've seen...not even close. It appears he has very weak lateral movement on defense. I remember him being one of the PFs Crash really dominated in the past. If he came out at all towards the perimeter on D Crash would just blow right by him.

to be fair... what pf can guard crash on the perimeter? thats why he is a matchup nightmare when he plays pf. i've seen crash smoke AK and josh smith as well.

If we're bringing him in to shoot a high percentage and get lots of boards, then fine.. I guess trade the pick for him.

It would be nice to just stay put, take bpa and fill in the holes in fa though.

Certainly, but there's a pretty obvious solution...play off of him and make him a perimeter scorer. From what I remember he did try and play off him but got smoked anyway.

Not to bash the guy...I'd probably do the 9th for him too. I don't see him as a great partner with Mek though, as both are strongest offensively near the basket.

Yeah, Lee doesn't necessarily help us on defense, but since we were among the league's worst rebounding teams, at the very least we'd pick up a lot of possessions through him. Obviously Lee vs. #9 is a risk/reward decision. It's very likely that whoever we pick at #9 will not be as good as Lee... but I guess one of them could very well be better (especially Kevin Love, who could pair the rebounding with better offense).
