Tell me if this is something you think Milw. would consider or that we would consider.

Char trades Ammo and #9
Milw trades Charlie V. and Ramon Sessions

For Char: This gives us a PF which can start for us, and a very good backup PG who can actually push Ray to get better or threaten his starting position. Charlie avg 11.7 pts and 6.1 reb while splitting time with Yi. Sessions avg. 8.1 pts and 7.5 assts. Very respectable. This fills both our glaring needs.

For Milw.: They have the #8 pick, this gives them another lottery pick. They want Yi to play the PF role so Charlie V. is expendable. Ammo gives them a young SF who still has potential, and they are weak at SF.

Is this a fair trade for both sides?

Rather just keep Ammo at this point and see if he can improve his stock. Cut him loose if he can't.

I understand your point. But remember that Sessions is just 22 and will get better, and Charlie V. is only 23, like Ammo. All 3 can get better. I just see this as filling 2 very vital needs. Ammo is expendable with Crash and Dudley both being able to hold down the SF position. Ammo is simply not going to see much time.

I don't know that I buy into the Ramon Sessions hype just yet.

I'd talk myself into it as a good trade if it happened, but at this point I'm positive I'd prefer to keep the pick and go bpa.

I could be talked into that. The more I think about the 9th pick, the less excited I get. We could probably do a little better with another trading partner, but the two Bucks would do a great job of filling in the gaps we have. I like Sessions and I really think CV can be a great role player.

Agreed. Sessions looked great to close out the season - but so did Fabio the year before, Collins the year before that etc.

The #9 has much more value than Charlie V at this stage.

His value is at Ammo's - and I doubt anyone would give us top 10 pick straight up for Ammo.

Charlie Villanueva, Tim Thomas. Tim Thomas, Charlie Villanueva. Thats kind of how see Charlie V. I'm just not a fan.

The Bucks don't make a good trading partner for Charlotte.

IMO Ammo's value is too debatable right now. He could possibly, possibly average 20 pts a game or he could be stuck shooting 30% the rest of his short lived career.

#3 picks usually arent given up on so early with only one season to show for it.

Plus he is the main reason I watch the Bobcats and I really don't want to have to starting pulling for Milwaukee the way I had to pull for the Bulls when E-Rob left the Hornets.

I really don't think Ammo's value is that debatable, and I'm actually reluctant to hold onto him because everyone might realize that he is on his way out of the NBA.

I could go on about it, but pretty much I view this as the #9 for both players, which is not horrible, but not exactly inviting either. I don't really think Charlie V is great, but Sessions does at least show some serious potential. He's probably not as good as he looked at the end of the season, but he's an intriguing prospect.

End of the day, it's a no... #9 has a much better chance of sticking and improving the team than either of those guys.
