Question.....for you Charlotte fans.
What would we have to package Haslem with to get your interest in a s&t for Okafor. I hate one sided trades as I notice they cause unnecessary stress between cities so..... any interest at all from a Cats perspective.
I think U would do good with L. Brown on him and if we draft Beasley (

) it will kind of scratch off our need for him. He will be missed but the objective is to get better now so D-Wade stays happy
Let me know what you all think.

Crickets chirping.
There is going to be no interest in this type of deal. Are the Heat willing to switch draft spots this year to make this happen? Wright and/or Cook don't really fill a need for the Bobcats. Also, the Heat aren't owed any firsts' that would make this interesting.
It would be like me asking "a package of Matt Carroll and what would net the Bobcats Dwyane Wade?"

Mek was a No. 2 overall pick...so it should be pretty obvious what it'd take to get him.

I thought most fans were disillusioned with Okafor. My bad.

while we may bitch and moan about okafor's lack of offensive development, his inability to finish strong at times or his value in relation to his upcoming contract, we all are very aware and appreciative of what okafor is - a great defensive anchor, who rebounds with the best of them and at times is a weapon offensively. that to us, is worth a lot.

Dissapointed, yes. Disillusioned, not really. His numbers are solid, but I was kind of expecting a little more in that part. Also, a lot more in terms of his being a leader.
This was a contract year, and he basically put up the same numbers he has for his career.
Maybe part of the problem was Sam Vincent trying to implement his style.
Basically I would like to see something like 15-16 points, 11 rebs, 2 blks, 55 Fg%, and 60+ft% this season as his averages and such.
Basically, don't become satisfied...find new ways to improve yourself. Last season was a nice start, staying healthy and all.
