2018 Edit: 12 years of Draft Chat gems. Luckily we've been in the lottery for 10 out of those 12.
RealGM's servers crapped the bed last year during the draft.

2016 Edit: 10 year anniversary of the draft chat!

2015 Edit: RealGM's servers probably wont survive the Lakers and Knicks picking 2 and 4. The draft chat is an alternative in the very likely event RealGM goes down during the draft. Its also wildly entertaining.
Also: 9th year this chat has been running! We've been doing it since the Morrison draft !

Hopefully I'll have the same draft night buzz on that I did by the end of last years draft!!

What time does the draft start? Being at work is a double-edged sword. There is the possibility of coming home and getting in chat and hearing some really great news, or theres a possibility that we haven't drafted yet and all the good players are off the board.

coverage at 7 on ESPN. That means the draft won't start until 9 I'll see if I can find anything, I think 7:35ish was the first pick last year.

While I would hate to be stuck at work on drat night, it would be nice to find out the results of the draft and not have to sit through Steven Smith's ranting and moaning and over acting.

Ugh. Well, I guess I will be either surprised or disappointed. Hopefully I don't crash my car rushing home from work.

Will the guys who are going to be on the computer from now til the draft get in the chat just to be there and add numbers? I advertised it to espn, clt.com, and other places because it was great that we had such a big turn out last year. you can leave the page minimized or something if you want.

Well for once I'll be on vacation so I'll try to join, but the draft starts at 1 am so I'll see. There's also a very good chance I'll be completely drunk/high so it could be worth it for me

Guys I'll not be available until late as we're out that evening with my wife, son, daughter-in-law and her family celebrating the verdict from the afternoon ultrasound (on our pending late-fall grandchild - boy or girl). That will be great...but I'll be hurtin not being part of the drama live. I'm central time so that makes it even harder to get in before it's all done. Hopefully we finally have a draft night where all the amazing breaks and deals fall our way .

New features: you can post youtube vids, record audio and play it to the room if you have a phone/mic, and even webcam I think. I'm not doing it but maybe you guys want to, lol.
