This is a Link with the info.

As you can tell by my handle i am a blazer fan but also just a NBA fan in general. I question MJ as a front office person but considering this draft is semi deep this is a good move.

Goodjob MJ

There is a story about how the Bobcats wanted another pick in the first round to draft Roy Hibbert so I believe that's what they will do with this pick. One of the better moves MJ has done as a GM. Hopefully Hibbert doesn't turn out to be another Kwame Brown.

Does the Panthers recent draft ring a bell? I like the move but it seems like it depends on who is available at 9 could make or break the move. I think this means we want Westbrook or Augustin at 9 and then take Hibbert or Alexis Ajinca, another big i hear they really like, at 20.

But what if Westbrook is gone. Do you take Love, Lopez, or Randolph at 9 and then what guard do you take at 20? Mario Chalmers, Brandon Rush. Maybe it was too early to pull the trigger on this deal and we should have waited until after we made our first pick to do it but I do like the move.

Could this be leading up to us not re-signing EO50?

No, I don't think so.

Wow

Denver really could of used that to grab a shooter, which I thought they'd definitely do... pretty surprising by Denver. Though they are over the lux tax I just learned.

Definitely a really nice move in that they can bolster the bench with a solid player, in addition to getting a big or Westbrook at #9.

Should be a very good draft here

We have pick 20, now how about this?

We have picks #9 and #20.

I say throw Miami: #9, Morrison, and Wallace for #2.

Good for Miami because: They want two contributors for next year; Wallace and Morrison are that. Augustin can be at #9 and same with Westbrook, so there's the PG. Miami would rock teams with Marion, Wallace, and Wade.

Good for Charlotte because: We get Michael Beasley! We need a scoring prescene to go along with Okafor...period! Get Hibbert at pick 20...how about Hibbert/Okafor/Beasley/Richardson/Felton?

I think this means that they identified that they're worried about May, not Okafor.

Two bigs could come from these picks.

I dont think it matters what direction we go in first I think a big and a PG are our targets.... I would love Westbrook but if he isnt there at 9 I think I would prefer Chalmers at 20....he is an upperclassman and we arent asking whatever PG we take to come in and start...I think that job still belongs to Felton(for now) I think Chalmers is gonna suprise while all the other "highly rated PG's" will need time to develop you kinda know what your getting w/ him. Ajinca or Hibbert(in that order) for the the bigs if we dont get Love at 9

Why are they looking at PGs that will be in the 2nd round then? Don't you think it's possible that they go big on the first two picks, then get the PG in the 2nd round?

Marion didn't opt out, so I'm pretty sure that fails a trade checker.

I'm surprised they pulled the trigger on this trade before seeing how the draft plays out. It sounds like LB has mancrushes on Westbrook and Hibbert, but I don't think Westbrook will be there at # 9 with all his helium. I still think we're going to trying to move up so LB can make sure he gets Westbrook.

Why do people wonder this?

that deal straight up most definitely would...salaries would need to come, but the principal of the deal is there.

WHYYY would we go with Hibbert? That dude can not move nor keep up with the likes of Felton, Wallace, j-rich or Okafor. I do however think we should go big with the first two picks (hopefully Brook, then maybe Robin at 20? , and then pick up Jamont Gordon or Sean Singletary in the 2nd to bolster the backcourt.

Again, if we never worked out Brook, much less Robin, WHY would we select BOTH of them?
