Would the Bobcats be interested in a Shawn Marion ($17 million expiring) for Gerald Wallace and Felton swap?
J-Rich and Marion would give you the most explosive 2-3 combo in the league. Marion is probably THE MOST DURABLE player in the league, missing like 3 games with inury in 5 years with the Suns. Felton is expendable now that you have Augustine. And if you dont like Marion, his $17 million contract comes off the books this summer so you guys can pursue Brand or Boozer. And if you like him, you can extend him to a long-term deal.
You might have to add an extra contract to make the numbers work, but that would be the meat of the trade. Thoughts?

Marion is better than Wallace, but not that much better. You'd really have to throw us something else of substance to get both of those guys.

So we take a guy but it doesn't matter if we don't like him because we can let him walk and go after Brand?Lakersfan23 wrote:Would the Bobcats be interested in a Shawn Marion ($17 million expiring) for Gerald Wallace and Felton swap?

Oh ok, good logic. Why not just try to do that with Felton/Wallace's salaries or trade one of them and get something actually good in return.
Horrible deal, and even worse logic to go with it.

Because Wallace is locked up for 5 more years. You can't sign a max free agent with his deal on the books. Marion gives you the flexibility to go after a max free agent like Boozer or Brand.
LOLOL "something actually good" in return? Like an All-Star small forward in Shawn Marion? Who never gets injured, unlike Wallace...oh wait, you want something actually good, because Marion is garbage, I forgot
Forget it, theres a reason the Bobcats are mired in the depths of mediocrity and will remain in the lottery for the rest of eternity.
Lakers gonna win the title next year, and Heat will compete for the ECF. Bobcats back to the lottery AGAIN

Thanks for dropping by Lakersfan23 - but please don't troll our board with bogus trade offers and then go on the attack when our posters reject them.

I don't know what Fluffer said, but I actually like the post better with the red text from Slam.
