Nice find......i have a strong feeling that Wallace or felton will be gone (maybe both). I think Wallace will be traded before the season and Felton during the season once Augustin takes control. Is there anything we can do with Golden State?

I'd really like to get Wright and Bellini from GSW or Wright and a 1st if we gave them someone like Ray. But with Davis gone, they may try harder to entice Agent Zero more since they already offered to MAX him. But they are surely in a bind with only CJ Watson on the roster as a PG. Wouldn't it be something to have given them Wright for a yr, taken J-Rich, let Wright get a yr under his belt and then get him back? They drafted Randolph, so they may move Wright if compelled.

Felton and Wallace for Wright and Al Harrington? That works salary wise but what's the deal with Harrington? I know he's listed as a power foward.....would he fit with Okafor or does he cost too much?

These Felton trades are so pointless...

If Wallace is really on the outs, we best be getting something of value in return. Odom, some sort of Boozer deal, some sort of S&T for Josh Smith? Anything is better than some of the junk I see on these boards.

Rich, I totally agree the only way we should move Wallace is if we can
get an impact 4. He should have good trade value with his age and
ability. His only perceived negative is he plays so hard he's considered injury
prone. Unless someone gives a superstar or unbelievable package then we
should not trade both Felton and Wallace together. I believe we should give
squad at least one more year with a solid coach before we start trying to
start over.

What sort of names would we be talking about in trading Wallace???

I cringe at the mention of Odom. I'd do it in a flash for a S&T deal with for Josh Smith. I'd even chuck in something extra (expiring in May/Davidson) to make the deal.

IMO Wallace is at least a top30 forward ... so I only trade him for a top20 pf :D ... like Jamison, Josh Smith, Iggy, Brand.

I had no interest on prospects (Wright) or package contaning mediocre players (Diaw) with horrible contracts.

Yeah ... but that's me ... and I'm no MJ. Believe me! :D

I doubt it. It looks like made up. Wallace is travelling to Vegas with Felton and Richardson to be with the summer league team and to used to Larry Brown style. So I doubt there is anything between Wallace and Jordan worth to notice.

Two possible trades with Detroit for Crash/Felton

1) Billups/Afflalo/rights to Toronto's '09 2nd

2) Sheed/rights to Minnesota's '09 2nd/rights to Toronto's '09 2nd (Sheed expires after '08-09)

Thoughts???

For the same package of Wallace/Felton r0cd0gg was offering Billups and Maxiell, which is much more appealing than either of those offers, especially #2.

Yeah, me and rocdogg are pretty much driving the Wallace wagon for Detroit. Personally, I included Afflalo becuase I thought you guys might want a guard with defensive prowess. However, I still like the Billups/Max deal for for both teams. Moving Max would alleveiate some of our logjammed bigs. If this deal has any legs to it for people who actually matter (Joe D, MJ) I am not sure Joe would include Toronto's 2nd if the deal included Max. But for me personally that wouldn't be a dealbreaker, hell I'd give you guys Billups/Max/Toronto and Minnesota's 2nd for Crash/Felt. Rip/Tay/Crash would be probably the most talented set of wings ikn the league, not to mention the deepest by far. The minutes could be split equally 32/32/32 to keep everyone satisfied.

If that was to happen you guys might be able to get a first round pick next year, since you guys traded your to Denver (protected).

Minny's 2nd- 30-37
Ur 2nd- 40-47
Toronto's 2nd- 45-50

A package of any of these could get you back into the first round in '09, if you wanted to.

Kyle Weaver is a better player than Afflalo and was brought in for wing defensive prowless. The 2nd round picks are meaningless to me. Billups/Maxiell for Felton/Wallace is great value, so I'd be satisfied.

Othello Hunter, a player quite simillar to Crash, will play for us in summer league. If that mean anything.

Thoughts on this 3-way???

To Charlotte:
Rasheed Wallace
Linas Kleiza
Their own '09 1st back from Denver

To Denver:
Chauncey Billups
Minnesota '09 2nd
Toronto '09 2nd

To Detroit:
Gerald Wallace
Raymond Felton
Marcus Camby

Obviously you guys would need a veteran PG via MLE, but hows the value for you guys?

Talk about a freaking lopsided trade for Detroit. What in the world does Denver want Billups for? They already have one rash PG in Iverson. Then they lose their best defensive presence? For what? 2 2nds which likely won't amount to much. Denver would laugh in your face.

I also don't like Wallace and Felton for Kleiza and Wallace personally. I'd much rather take my chances with the roster we have than that.

That trade is probably one of the worst trades I've seen.... I can see why you have called yourself 'thesack'.......

Umm actually Denver wants Chauncey badly. They were the first to call Joe D after the "no sacred cows" presser. You guys must have forgot he's a hometowner there. Denver's brass already offered Camby for Billups.

As for the Charotte's end, I can't argue much other than to say the Sheed/LB factor would be in play, plus Sheed is an expiring. And Kleiza is still blossoming and will be good scoring option for any team. But if you don't like, then you don't. I was just tryin to gauge interest.

The Cats don't really need an expiring contract. The trade is worse than bad for them.
