Bobcats Game Tix

Hey Y'Alls

Question for you guys. -- I'm interested in hitting up opening night for the Bobcats as well as the Nov 1st game against the Miami Heat. So, based off of that, how/where would be the best place to get tix from? And, how much do tix usually go for?

Thanks!

I usually just get my tickets from the Bobcats website which runs through ticketmaster now I believe. But yor working in Charlotte now aren't you? Just go up to the arena and you dont have any fees added to the price.

The cheapest single game price is $10 or $15 for the very top corner seats. They go up to what? $300 for a courtside seat :D

I dont know if the prices went up this year but my favorite seat for the price is the first row of the second level at halfcourt which is $55 (Well, it was last year). For the Spurs game last year I paid $85 for a corner seat about 4-6 rows up from the court.

I will also more than likely be at that Heat game on the 1st.

Sweet, thanks!

I will definitely try and visit the Arena directly and get my tix there.

yeah, you can walk to the arena from work, right? i'll be in my regular $5 nosebleed seats. woo hoo.

glad the opener is on a weekend this year and not on the last business day of the month. now i can go.

flash, we gotta get you into some non-heat games, so you can begin your slow transition over to a full-time bobcats nut.

Yeah, I'm a 5-8 minute walk from the Arena.

Yeah, I'll definitely be hitting some non-Heat games too! --

btw, granted the Heat game coincidentally is the home opener for the Bobcats, how big of a crowd usually attends the home openers?

I know for sure I've got 2 games down pat, the Nov 1st game vs the Heat, and the Dec 22(?) game vs the Heat, as well. -- We can see if we can meet one another.....

Good thing I scrolled down the page, I must've hit reply to fatlevers post as soon as you hit submit flash.. The only home opener I've been to was the first ever at the arena so it was sold out. Can't tell you how it's been since then. But I will be buying the tickets for it as soon as they go on sale.

Right now I'm planning on going to these games:

Nov 1 Miami
Dec 6 Cleveland
Jan 17 Portland
Jan 23 Phoenix

And maybe March 31 against the Lakers depending on work since it's a Tuesday and I live in Richmond Virginia...

the home opener will be sold out or close to it, especially since its wade.

usual weekday game maybe 8-12k (actually in the stands)

usual friday/saturday game maybe 12-16k (in the stands)

sellouts (or close) will be: lakers, home opener, celtics, cavs (if on a weekend), maybe pistons (if on a weekend), miami (if on a weekend and wade is healthy).

He sure looks healthy...we'll try to remember to let you know. They usually email us season ticket holders about stuff like when tickets go on sale and other news events.

Update -- I called the Arena box office last week, and they said single game tix are on sale, but online only. -- So, I went to the bobcats website, and saw nothing. Is this something for season tix holders only?

Probably not what you were looking for Flash, but it's probably the best you can do until single game tickets actually go on sale.

Thanks, Walt! -- The site is down right now, but when it comes back online I'll check it out.

Do you guys think, given that it is going to be opening night for you all (?), that the game will be a sell-out?

The single game tickets go on sale September 30.

I think it probably will since it's Wade and opening night combined. If not it should be pretty close to a sell out.

I called today TWC Arena today, and they said the 1st week of October.

But, I'll be out of town that week, so I'll probably buy my tix online. -- I was planning to get the tix around the $30-45 range, are they pretty good seats? :dontknow:

The $55 seats are the first 2 rows of the second level. You will be a few more rows up from there.
