The Oklahoma City NBA franchise signed free agent guard Kyle Weaver to a multi-year contract it was announced today by the team’s General Manager Sam Presti. Per team policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed. Weaver, drafted by the Charlotte Bobcats with the 38th pick in the 2008 NBA Draft, was acquired by Oklahoma City via trade on August 11, 2008. “We’re pleased to officially add Kyle to our roster,” Presti said. “His defensive mentality and selfless approach to the game are consistent with what we are working to establish in Oklahoma City.”

I wounder if Weaver is going to be any good?

We will regret not keeping Weaver. He is not a superstar, but his Defense is something this team needs and which it lacked last year. He is a solid role player and we will miss that.

There is a big question i my mind.

Why does our staff just drop Weaver who is expected to become a solid role player by all fans (I do too), just for a guy who can jump but can`t play basketball !

Due to the experience that Shannon Brown have?Or his agent`s name Mark Bartelstein?

I just dont get it!

Or what if a Hall of Fame coach knows more about what kind of players will fit better in his system then a bunch of fans.

If this team had traded someone like DJ White, it would be one thing...but Kyle Weaver won't make or break the OKC.
