Denver Trades:
Kenyon Martin
Chucky Atkins

Denver Receives:
Jamaal Tinsley
Nazr Mohammed
Marquis Daniels

Charlotte Trades:
Adam Morrison
Nazr Mohammed

Charlotte Receives:
Troy Murphy
Shawne Williams

Indiana Trades:
Jamaal Tinsley
Troy Murphy
Shawne Williams
Marquis Daniels

Indiana Receives:
Kenyon Martin
Chucky Atkins
Adam Morrison

Why for Denver?
Martin's contract is really killing them, especially when it looks like they are committed to bringing around Nene. This trade gets them the PG they need in Tinsley. He is a bigger PG that can help balance off Iverson's size, won't make up the difference, but more than most other PG's can. Despite Jamaal's off the court issues, he is the perfect PG for this system, he is pass first, usually, and he thrives in the up tempo game. Marquis Daniels is a big PG that can balance out Iverson's weakness very well if needed. He is a good perimeter defender and he shares the ball. Mohammed is a good replacement for the loss of Camby as he brings the needed defense. Daniels is also a nice expiring contract, so they shed salary and fill 2 needs.

Mohammed
Nene
Anthony
Iverson
Tinsley

Why for Charlotte:
It is becoming obvious that Okafor plays better at C. With this trade they get Murphy, who is the perfect compliment to a player like Okafor. He will make it harder for teams to double up on Okafor. While Williams has had off the court problems, on the court he has played very well. He actually put up better numbers per 30 than Granger did his second year. Morrison wasn't impressive his rookie year and missed all of last year, this makes them more athletic which fits perfect with their offense. Larry Brown did great with Antoine Walker and Murphy's game is somewhat similar.

Okafor
Murphy
Wallace
Richardson
Felton

Why for Indiana: They get rid of Tinsley, Daniels, and Williams, 3 players they have not wanted. They take on a big contract in Martin but they still get rid of 2 big contracts in the process. Morrison is looking like a dead beat, but Bird loves him and also turned Mike Dunleavy's career around. This clears the air with the rest of the Pacers bad boy imagine and could possibly help them if Martin and Morrison could turn it around. Atkins is just a filler, but could become very useful if Ford was to go down with an injury.

Foster
Martin
Granger
Dunleavy
Ford

What do ya'll think? Are ya'll giving up on Morrison this quickly? I think Shawne Williams has a higher ceiling for ya'll, plus Murphy is a big upgrade over Mohammed.

I like Shawne Williams length and game, but the continual off court issues are a huge concern.

I like Murphy's game and could see him fitting next to EO50 well, but his contract is a huge concern.

Because of those two combined concerns, I would pass.

Troy Murphys contract is huge and his play doesn't even come close to justifying it. Shawne Williams has that wonderful word "potential", but just doesn't seem like anything to write home about.

No thanks....
Murphy is paid too much and Williams doesn't seem interested.

We can do better...
