He's looking really, really trim and that mid range base line J off the DJ behind the back pass was sweeeeeeeeeeeeettttttttttt!!
Hopefully Felts or McMay are up next.
(P.S. I can hardly hear this one at all Spectre)

Yeah, he's lost a lot of that insane "I look like a superhero" muscle mass.
I think that's going to be a big plus. He's still plenty strong enough I'm sure.
That was a nice surprise. I always thought he was TOO buff, but never really imagined it would change.

OK now that video got me pumped. Okafor....I mean how can you not love the guy. I like his personality and you know he's working hard and getting smarter. I'd love to see him with a jumper this year if he aded it. It'd bring so much more to his game. Glad to hear that he and J RIch got together for some time this off season too so that is awesome to hear.
Also this is what we were wanting to see. Sean May was playing with everyone and at least from the 4-5 times you saw him looked to be in good shape and moving well. He had a nice shot after he lost the ball from the baseline.
Best video yet by far. Thanks Bobcats!!

Man...I wonder if it's the player? I have my sound as high as it will go and it's all I can do to make out what's being said.
Still, GLAD to see Mek in there! His shot is looking pretty good (realizing they picked which we saw o'course), but I really wish he'd work on going "up" vs. going forward on those turnaround 5 ftrs...offensive foul just waiting to happen. He also said he wanted to work on his defense more (I think?) and mentioned his blocks in particular.
See that steal by Swish? I'm thinking he's going to be absolutely huge this year!
Bobcats.com deserves a huge round of applause; we've never seen offseason coverage like this.
I want to see one on Crash.

I find it interesting to see who Okafor is playing with and playing against in this practice video. I guarantee you we will see Larry Brown using Okafor at the 4 spot this season. He was seen playing with Hollins in some sets, and with Nazi in another. He was matched against May and against Davidson. This is why the Cats have not been in pursuit of a PF. We've heard chatter from the front office and/or national press talking about EO50 as a 4, so now he will get his chance. Hopefully that jumper will get really refined, and hopefully his leaner body will give him better quickness. That begs the question of who starts at the 5? I'm sure it will be Nazi...I just hope LB's system enables these two to work better together than in the past.

Larry Brown has already hinted at starting May at PF and Okafor at center on opening night.
http://fantasyhockey.usatoday.com/conte ... BA&id=1134I'd say he is running everyone together using different combinations just so everyone can get used to each other.

the fantasyhockey part had me thinking I was about to be rick roll'd.

VERY impressive short corner j by Emeka! May still looks rather round, but he made his shot, so I guess that's something.

Even if cookie starts I'd bet Nazr plays more minutes.
Wow, Mek looks trim....if he is now fast enough to guard 4's (without fouling) that solves a lot of problems for us. It should also help with fatigue.
