Swish and Felts policing the locker room as team captains.

Vincent was on a power trip - Brown is more "team" orientated

Training camp! season's almost here!

Interesting the two "groups," I don't know if I would put too much into that. It's possible that with Ammo's...eh... "Confidence Issues" LB thought that he would take it more seriously than Dudley would.

After he was fired last April, team employees described a top-down management style where assistant coaches couldn't address Vincent directly during games, but instead had to relay suggestions through then-lead assistant Lee Rose.

Wow...."His majesties subjects shall not address his majesty directly, on penalty of death"

There is some great stuff here from the blog on the official site:

http://www.nba.com/bobcats/2008_training_camp_blog.html

Matt Rochinski has been working hard to add good content to the site - which he is doing a really good job of.

The Bobcats certainly do a much better job with the site these days than in the past. I think we're all impressed - keep it comin!

Remember those times when we wondered about Crash's BBIQ? Maybe after a stint with LB that won't happen again. Crash has had almost no formal team basketball training, much less than Mek or Felton. He was a one year college guy that had his sights set on the NBA and then pretty much got ignored by the Kings.

Maybe Billy King will be right in that Crash will improve the most.

And I have to agree, Bobcats.com has done an absolutely fantastic job this offseason in keeping us informed with the goings on. Major kudos.

all bonnells blogs are starting to run together. here's the latest.

brown believes in breaks

www.charlotte.com/bobcats/vincent-craps-pants.html

brown is meticulous in every way. he sees everything and the correct everything. it is not uncommon for brown to stop practice 100 times over the course of a session not all related to basketball. but, it hasnt always been that way. bobcats center nazr mohammed recalls training camp when he played for brown in philadelphia. "brown would stop practice to correct us for all the mistakes he made, but he would not stop practice for bathroom breaks. that was one of the first things i noticed about brown this year. he takes bathroom breaks", tells mohammed. "its true", recalls mike gminski who played under brown in new jersey. "the man would hold it for hours and hours and make us due the same. thats not healthy". but times have changed. brown stopped practice 4 times yesterday solely for bathroom breaks. each time running off the floor towards the locker room. does this mean brown is getting soft or simply getting old? "its a nice change of pace" recalls guard jason richardson. "last year sam never took bathroom breaks". sam was such a control freak he did not trust his assistants to run practice while he was in the bathroom. "he crapped his pants. seriously, dude crapped his pants" laughs guard raymond felton, referring to a time last season when coach sam vincent chose to "crap his pants" rather than leave the practice in the hands of his assistants. "it was nasty" says forward jared dudley. "thats why we locked him out of the locker room last year", recalls felton. "it was payback". "we all knew he had to go real bad, so we locked the door and made him wait, like he made us do." vincent eventually tracked down the coach of the ladycats and was allowed to use the bathroom in the ladycats dressing room, which i'm sure was quite disturbing for all involved.

Yes, kinda. However I'm sure LB is implementing lots of stuff already. Probably some overload and it may be a time to just absorb some of it and give both their mind and bodies a rest.

Btw did anyone catch the Hornets Real Training camp on NBATV. I recorded it this morning, awesome watch. I wish we could get them on the Bobcats for at least one practice.
