Question for you all with TimeWarner Cable DVRs.....

Is there anyway to adjust the record time for pre-set recordings? - Today I set my DVR to record the Heat/Nets pre-season game, but it went into OT, so I know anything over the alotted amount (which was 4:30) will not be recording. -- So, is there a way to add extra time to a specific recording?

As an employee of a wonderful cable company  I can tell you that yes you can extend the record time...when you highlight the show and select record options you can select whether to start the recording earlier or extend it by 5, 10, 15 or 30 mins or an hour....

BTW I just love the new name of the old Bobcats arena....dont you?!!

2 Questions for you guys.

1. What channel(s) do the BobCats games come on?

2. What channels are NBA League Pass on the TWC Box? -- Cuz, there's a free preview starting this week.

I don't get channels 500 -550ish, they pick up around 600 IISC with music.

Are they showing the games on another set of channels for NBA League Pass?

Is there a schedule you know of that has the LP games avail on a nightly basis? -- I can't find one on the TWC site.

Slowly, but surely, I'm starting to get the trend that everything occurs here 5 years later than everyone else. lol

I'm currently watching the free preview of L Pass, and I've switched through all the games playing and the quality is VERY bad, and it was the same last night for the Milwaukee Game, too.

What about you guys?

btw, the Heat/Knicks game says HD, but it's not coming in HD quality.

and if it matters, I'm watching L Pass on an HDTV.

it's not as crisp/clear, like it should be, in my opinion; it's a bit choppy/grainy, but not much.

the ny/miami game says HD Broadcast, but it definitely is not hd quality.

:dontknow:

Everything looks great to me but I'm with DirecTV. I had TWC for two years while I was in an apartment and I hated every minute of it.

how pathetic are the bobcats and TWC? i'll tell you. i have TWC. i went to DVR the game for tonight and the preview guide does not have the bobcats game listed (even though i know its on). they have a hockey game listed instead. how sad is that? TWC has their name on the building. you'd think they'd like to attract fans for the bobcats since that means free advertising for them. nope. TWC and the bobcats just cant seem to get their head out of the collective ass. if i was the bobcats i would be on the phone chewing some exec at TWC out for not having the game listed on the preview guide. they both suck.

They should be doing that. There are lots of TWC subscribers that don't get the Bobcats on their FSS. TWC regularly pre-empts Bobcats games with Hurricane games, or those crappy 30-minutes sports shows, or college football. I think the whole idea of letting Time Warner put their name on the arena was in exchange for airing the Bobcats games on FSS, yet most people in the Carolinas still can't watch them on FSS, and apparently the ones even right in Charlotte still have some issues with their coverage.

just what is the coverage area for fox sports and sports south for the bobcats?

i am hearing stories of people in NC and SC that still cant see the games. i'd love to hear who is able to see the game and who isnt (and where you live). please post your situation.

charlotte, nc - TWC - obviously all games available - fox sports (40), sports south (60)
fort mill sc (10 mins south of NC) - comporium - no game on sports south (they showed the thrashers hockey game instead). not sure about fox sports yet.
