After each game will will vote for the Hammer of the Game Awards (Bobcats players only). The voting will be open for 24 hours after the end of each game (or longer if i am being lazy). Fans from the opposing teams are encouraged to vote, just remember the vote is for the best Bobcats (even if your team beats us by 30).

Points
3 = best player of the game
2 = second best player of the game
1 = third best player of the game

Player with the most points gets a gold hammer, player with the second most points get a silver hammer and the player with the third most points gets a bronze hammer. In the event of a tie, both players will be awarded the higher hammer for win and the lower hammer for losses. If two players tie for a bronze in a loss, only the gold and silver will be awarded (I just cant justify 4 hammers for a loss).

Gold Hammer = 3pts
Silver Hammer = 2pts
Bronze Hammer = 1pt

- Votes must be clear and follow the points listed above with 3 being the best (and so forth)
- Votes must have a best, second best and third best. If you do not list 3 players, your vote will not count. If you list more than 3 players, your vote will not count. If you list a tie, your vote will not count. Votes for anything other than our players, will not count.

Hey fat, how would we called hammers if Matt traded? Browns?

i dont know, good question. i think we'd have to collectively brainstorm for ideas. or maybe we keep it as "hammers " in honor of MC. "the brown of the game" just doesnt have that special ring to it. although we could vote for the "brown frown of the game" which would go to the worst performance of the night.

"To brown" as a verb is a rather rude slang term. I'd avoid it.

"Brown of the game" should apply to somebody who played really badly, i.e., was shat upon, to speak Middle English for a moment.

"Brown Frown" has a great ring to it....

I might start voting for hammers just so I can type "Brown Frown,"

You'd call them "Linsey's" if Hammer left. Duh!

Okafor back up to 3rd now, let's hope he can play like he did in the 4th Q against Minn more consistently.

I wonder where Boris and Raja will be after 10-15 games

If it took Carroll that long to get a hammer, Raja will take at least that long. Boris probably has about 10 in 15 games. Just my prediction.

It would be interesting to see the hammer totals divided by the number of games played. "Hammers per game" strikes me as being interesting in the same way average PPG is interesting vs total points scored.

Keep the name as a tribute, at least for the rest of the season.

Bobcats lost a soulja.
