might be going

I have been a huge fan of the cats - grew up as a hornets fan (attended 4-5 games a year/watched the rest on tv) devastated when they left, but when we got the cats- I was so excited.
But, I may have to find another team. Its not because I don't like the make-up of the team (its ok- not great, but I like somethings about it)- no problem with the coach. No the reason I may find jump ship is, I can no longer watch the game on tv.
I have league pass, mainly to watch the bobcats, but as of yet, I haven't been able to see a single game. This is ridiculous, there is no tv coverage. I am right outside of raleigh, but the games are blacked out. Right now I may be overeacting, but it seems like the franchise seems a little second rate. Why can we not get the games on tv??
Somebody help calm me down, or give me another team to root for.

Are you sure you don't have Fox Sports? Because you should be able to get the Bobcats on Fox Sports anywhere in NC. It is probably on one of the alternate channels. Call your provider.

I am pretty sure that nobody in NC will be able to view games on league pass because Fox sports has rights in NC. I live in PA and have had every game on league pass including home feed almost everygame (hardly ever had home announcers in past). I assume that is also because of Fox

I have dish network too...I saw about 4 NBA games and was able to get Bobcats/Hornets, like I have all season. Its in the alternate channels above Fox Sports - 440's if you have dish network.

FWIW, on TWC in Raleigh the FSN games are televised but not the Sport South ones.

Don't take the easy way out!!!!
The harder you work now to be a fan, the sweeter the taste of success will be!!!
Go ahead and be a Lakers fan. When they win it all this year you will feel NOTHING!!!!

powerforward like me you're just SOL. If you aren't within the 75 mile radius of Charlotte you will not get the games unless you have TWC, and even with them you'd only get those on FSN South...none on Sports South. Fox Sports is charging an extra amount to the providers to show the games and all are refusing to pay it. League Pass games are all blocked out in the Carolinas (nice of them to tell you that before the bill became due wasn't it?).
I'm in the exact same boat you're in...and I'm VERY pissed about it.

If you can't get your games on league pass, just cancel it. The alternative is those sites on the internet with live TV streams. We watched some preseason games like that. Anyone know what some of those sites were?

could we organize an e-mail ring or aim list or gchat or something so that when the items are found that lead to the coughing we can spread them like wildfire without posting them specifically?

I also am interested in coughing...
BCP game threads are often useful in this regard.
