Dec 3rd Hammers: Bobcats Vs Thunder

Post#1 » by BigSlam » Thu Dec 4, 2008 2:29 am

Image - EO50. Caught the ball well. Was in the right position most of the night so he could get easy looks. Rebounded well and shot very well from the line (again)

Image - Crash. Was active at both ends and played a good team brand of ball. Carried us when we needed someone to.

Image - Swish. Made some really big plays and some really tough baskets when things were looking a little grim. Gave him the ball a few times when everything else had failed and he made things happen at the offensive end.

Highlight of the night: Not really sure there was one!! Shannon Brown made a nice drive, palmed the ball, hung in the air for a very long time and shot the ball. He missed the shot but was fouled and made the 2 ft's. That was the play that made me sit up the most.

Ditto that (Mek/Crash/Swish). It sounded like most played pretty well. A few inopportune mistakes but the good guys pulled it out in the end.

Green/Durant will one day be a force to be reckoned with.

HM for this guy:

(I tried to turn "me" into "may", but had no success... I can upload the larger image if someone wants to make that tweak, but it looks better at a smaller resolution. Had fun with that one. :D)

Gold: Okafor 25 Pts and 13 reb. Great night!

Silver: Crash 21 pts and all out hustle, but cut down the TO's please

Bronze: J-Rich with 18 and solid play

*Honorable Mention to : Sean May!!!! A double - double! Now, just get in better shape so you can do this on a regular basis and we will love to have you at PF. Lay off the food!
And Ray, solid game. but stop all that shooting in the 4th! You keep missing. Just pass to the others and rack up assists.

Gold: Mek
Silver: Crash
Bronze: Jrich

HM: Cookie! can't believe my eyes...I hope he proves us all horribly wrong.

Brown-Frown: The bench, The starters all played heavy minutes, (even may had 27 which is very heavy for him) With only Agustin and Dudley getting off the bench for any amount of time. If you look at the +/- scores of Jones(-5 in almost 6min) and Morrison(-6 in 4mins) you understand why LB had a quick hook.

G - Mek
S - Crash
B - Felton

I wanted to include JRich but we expect him to score at least 18 a game. We don't expect 12 assists out of Ray, particularly when he got called for some chippy fouls.
