wiretap: curry to bobcats (for diaw and bell)

you've gotta be kidding me....

diaw is finally the player we've desperately needed at pf and we are gonna deal him for curry.

story says executives around the league believe we will eventually trade diaw and bell to ny for curry and lee.

Execs expect Curry to be traded to Bobcats

Post#2 » by Elwren » Wed Dec 24, 2008 5:08 pm

I know this was brought up right after the J-Rich trade but apparently it may have more weight to it now...

I for one hope this does NOT go through...

Bobcats would be a laughingstock if they made such a trade. :(

they can't be traded together until feb so we'll see what happens. given how diaw is working out, i don't see why we'd consider doing that.

"If" this went down it would be rock bottom for this franchise.

Well I don't understand it really. Curry didn't play well with another good big in Zack and although Mek would give up shots what do they do with Lee? Do they give him 9 mil do be a 6th man? I don't see it. Do they trade EO? I don't see that either. Also who is our sg?
Wallace and Felton and Morrison and filler for Curry and Q makes alot more sence which can be done now by the way.

You guys are overdoing it here.
Talent wise the trade would benefit us. Raja Bell is not a long term solution or even really a should be starter so really it's Diaw for Lee plus we get Curry. We get more talent. It just there isn't room.
They in no way would be ripping us off in this, in fact if we didn't already have a big we would be getting the steal. Lee is averaging 15 and 11 shooting over 50% from the field.
Eddie Curry 2 years ago when actually got starters minutes averaged 19.5 points and 7 boards. Not exactly terrible now. He would have been in the allstar game had he not made that comment about knowing the coaches have no choice to put him in the game.

dexmor dat makes no sense.Q is a bum and hasn't bein relevant since his phx days, and wallace is way better on the boards and def then q is. do you know bball or do you jus say things to be heard i believe its the latter. STOP TRYING TO TRADE GFORCE. Diaw is proving that he belongs here,he gforce and okafor are showing that they are a big three in the making.

The knicks want cap space, why would we do that? The cats need to hire me as GM.

Curry for Nazr, Morrison and Sean May, the knicks will get 4 million in cap space. Take it or leave!

if they want to dump curry....they need to be the ones giving up the talent...i dont understand this ****...curry is a bum and is rotting on the bench....if they want a trade with us we are not giving up a key piece and i need a draft pick or some talent coming back..bottom line

It's a NY paper saying this, and it's ALWAYS been the NY papers saying it.

LB isn't an idiot. Heck he's the one who realized we need a point/forward AND went out and got one. The improved team play we've seen was from what he imagined. Why would he turn around and add another big to clog up the paint beside Mek?

Throwing crap against the wall hoping it'll stick.

Dexmor you are a seriously hard dude to work out. Either you seriously under value "our" players or you just like to ruffle feathers!!

I wouldn't put too much credibility into this, it did come from New York...

Keep us posted with the info you're getting, it's great!

Well I meant have Q as the sg.
Im just trying to think of something that might make sence with the starting lineup.
I don't undervalue our players or even think we should pull the trigger I am just realistic and know that our players are undervalued around the league. The trade value is not high for our guys. Maybe there higher then I am thinking but the going by the rumors ala Brad Miller and Brandon Wright our guys value are pretty low. Don't take it personal and no need for insults here.
