GT: Charlotte v. Milwaukee 8:30pm

Post#1 » by BigSlam » Sat Jan 3, 2009 1:16 am

No Steve? Just in case I'll sticky this and dress the GT up a little later.

Just know this: Milwaukee has certainly had its share of visitors. The French missionaries and explorers began visiting there in the late 16th century. Milwaukee is pronounced "mill-e-wah-que" which is Algonquin for "the good land"

another late night at the office. and no local tv for this game. WTF? they said they were televising 70 games this year. i swear the 12 they arent televising seem to all be in last few weeks.

making me regret my decision to not get league pass this year.

It is allowed to post links of webs where we can see the game here?

2 stupid, stupid early fouls on Hammer.

Shannon 1st guard in off the bench. Interesting.

Bad fouls. 1st was a push in the back as Redd tried for a layup on a back door cut that Hammer left him wide open on. 2nd was a stupid reach in 3/4 way down the court and close to the side line.

Both were not at all necessary.

Thanks. His play this year is infuriating. I have a theory but it is too tedious to delve into at this point.

Pissy little slapping and pushing and offensive fouls with your off arm drive me up the wall.

You need to crank up your Hammer Theory thread sooner rather than later. I look forward to reading it. Does it have anything to do with having a new baby and a lack of sleep? If so, I can empathize!!

Interesting that LB has said he is not at all a fan of the 3pt shot, yet Diaw is averaging 2 three point attempts a game since coming to the Bobcats - more than he ever has before at any stage of his career.

Shannon Brown again suffering from SBS (Shannon Brown Syndrome).

Maybe when it's him I should call it RHR "Ryan Hollins Retardation"?

Not worthy of a thread. Early in the preseason Bonnel/Bozzy had an article about Larry Brown stopping practice to get on Carroll for taking a three too early in the shot clock. I think Brown's in the shooters' head because they are unsure if they are supposed to shoot any given shot. As a shooter, you have to be without conscience and let fly. With Brown, they have a hint of doubt every time they pull the trigger and that is enough to throw the shooters off.

I seriously doubt that Carroll and Morrison forgot to shoot this year, I think they are doubting every shot before they take it. Couple that with getting 4 minutes of playing time in any one stretch and being unable to get in a rhythm.

I am a big fan of Brown and am glad he is the coach. Frankly, I was not going to renew my tickets if they kept Vincent. However, he has mindficked the shooters.

Nazzy making those "I'm a 10 year old playing my very 1st game of basketball" type mistakes again.

No doubt. Add in the 30+ new plays that he introduced at the start of training camp and I think some of the guys have been flustered. Of course, it hasn't stopped Felts from jacking shots up though!!

I've often wondered what would have happened if we had have lucked into Mayo and how he and LB would get along.

Redd is shooting the ball out of his mind.

Edit: And just as I type that he shoots an airball!!

I am NOT going to win the $22 million lotto tomorrow night.
