It seems to me we win whenever he plays well. When his shot is falling he gets us 20 and we win. When his shot is not falling he goes 3-19 and is so bad I would rather play 4 on 5.
Why is this? Is he just playing out of position? Is he just a sg? It seems his best games are when DJ is playing with him. Maybe they just need to play him at the 2. Maybe he could be a really great combo guard ala Barbosa and we should keep him considering his trade value or showcase him at the starting 2 for Feb.

I think tonights game would be the perfect test. There playing the Cavs who play with 2 pg's in the backcourt. Yes Mo is really a 2 but he is a 6'1 2 and West is 6'4 but still one of the shortest 2's and played mostly as a pg his nba career.
Tonights game will be very interesting to see how Felton does if LB tries this.

This also proves if I am right that we win when Felton gets us 20 that we have such good role players that we only need one more and that is the star. Ray was the star and we beat the Celtics.

Correct me if I am wrong here. Also we had AMMo playing out of his mind like a star for 15 minutes and we were awesome. Boy I would love to be wrong about him but he would have to play that good for at least a week before I even considered it.

Felton is at his best when he shoots only 6-9 times a night, period.

The team is also at its collective best when he doesnt shoot above 12 or so times. It would be different if he was an average to above average shooter, but the kid just cant shoot, at all. His form is terrible, and his shot just doesnt fall. Augustin is only shooting about 40% for the season, but If you look at the form on his shot you just know hes far superior than that. Its almost like watching Eric Gordon of the Clippers shoot. A work of art.

Yes and he also shoots the 3 well and DJ just might be the best free throw shooter of alltime when it's over.
Felton should shoot 6-9 shots a game I totally agree. If he came off the bench peremately but for now playing the sg spot he wouldnt have access to shoot whenever he wants to. Maybe DJ can only pass him the ball when he is open or on cuts but bottom line at the sg spot he won't be able to bring the ball up and just take bad shots with a guy on him instead of making plays. DJ can make the plays.
Raymond Felton should be traded but if he stays he would be an awesome combo guard off the bench.

Jose Calderon will go down as the best free throw shooter ever. Last time I checked he was a perfect 79-79 or something on the season.

dj isnt even in the top 5 for this season. he's behind calderon, mo williams, tj ford, nash, and ray allen.

but 91% is impessive. no doubt.
