Matt Carroll tribute

Post#1 » by SamBone » Sat Jan 17, 2009 8:09 pm

I want to be the first to say thank you to the Hammer for lthe last 5 years. Alot of ups and downs and questionable lack of PT, but he is one of the longest tenured guys in the organization. I will never forget the triple OT game were you battled Kobe! Good luck, I am now a Mavs fan!

I second Steve's suggestion that the game balls remain "hammers,"

That's what I was thinking about last night.

How will we beat the Lakers now?

How long till Larry hates Diop? A week, ten days, longer??? This trade does not make any sense.

I am going to miss him, but leaving makes sense for him.
He will have to fight ther for some playing time as well.

Think Larry ever said this to Matt:

And finally, Mark Cuban's doing his best to cheer you up with this last gem. Cuban describes a conversation he had with Matt Carroll concerning his role with the team: " "I went up to him yesterday and I said, 'If you don't shoot when you get the ball and you're even a little bit open, I'm going to run on the court and tear your arms off,' " Cuban said. "And then I'm going to make you clean up the blood." "

This was Cuban's signature move in his rugby days. 100% legal too.
