Sean May Speaks!

http://probasketball.ning.com/profiles/ ... deliver-on"You can't take it for granted, and sometimes when you are talented you take it for granted, you take days off in practice," May said of his career so far. "What I've learned now is that this being my job, it's not a game now -- it's my liveliehood. you have to come to work everyday, you have to put in the work every day. "
Thanks Captain Obvious!
"My whole thing, as far as the weight issue goes, is that I didn't have a lot of opportunity this summer," May said. "Not many people know the whole situation with my rehab and my coming back from this injury. This is one of the most catastrophic injuries you can have as a basketball player; it's ended a lot of careers. The one thing I've always told myself, and all my rehab guys have told me is "come back heavier and be healthy, rather than come back lighter and be unhealthy". I came back a little heavier than what they wanted and what I wanted myself, but I was able to practice and I was able to play, and I am able to work the weight down. Now It's getting back to that 260-point where I was when I left school. I'm not far -- I'm 8 or 9 pounds away. I'll continue to work and get there. Coach has seen my work ethic, I don't think that has ever been a question for him. He's seen the way I come to practice and come to work."
Worst justification ever.
"Sean May is going to reach 260, get back on this court and help the Bobcats win games," May said.
Slam says he gets a little freaked out when people speak of themself in the 3rd.

fats read this and fats thought, man, sounds like derrick coleman, all the talent, but thought everything would come easy at first. fats hopes may gets down to his 260 numbers. fats knows may is very talented and would help.

Yeah, the distraction play as i mentioned elsewhere. When May gets on court everybody would look a thim and leave his teammates pass quickly for an easy lay up. My clutchness!

E4 thinks that even Derrick Coleman, the embarrassment that he was had a better career than what Sean May has had so far.

He's so delusional.
And as I said before, at least Coleman could sometimes contribute when he was fat. May can't even stay on the court.

Sean May: Robble Robble
it's a pity one of my favorite heels is wasting a dream job like this.

I was watching May today, he was not mentally ready to play dispute being dressed. I would have loved if Larry came up to him and asked him to drop the soft pretzel and go in.

Next thing you know he's gonna be whipping it out in public places and peeing on restaurant tables... oh well, at least we're not paying him 8m/year LOL

Sean--This message is for you. The Bobcats especially coach Brown have been patient--Yes we have tried to trade you because we felt we made a mistake drafting you.
The last 3 years have been a nightmare, but right NOW you can make a comeback of comebacks and help us go into the playoffs. First get that last 10 lbs off, do not go to any strip clubs, spend that time with trainers/weight room/running/shooting. Eat sleep and live nothing but Basketball.
The big question Sean is "How bad do you want it" ITS NOW or NEVER!!!!

Sean May is not that talented. He was able to use his body in college that's all. Maybe at 260 he can get us 10 points but more then that? And you guys really know how good Coleman was? That man was able to drive it, shoot the 3 and post on anybody.

I don't know what your definition of "talented" is, but in college Sean May wasn't just a big body, he was extremely skilled around the basket and had a real nose for the ball. Those skills have transitioned to the pros... when he plays, Sean May is good, there's no denying it. The problem is and always has been the fact that he can't play because he has no work ethic and inherited awful knees from his father.

I never saw McMay or Felts play at UNC but they were showing throw back games a couple of weeks ago and they showed UNC Vs Duke with Felts, McMay, Duhon etc.
McMay was freaking awesome. He was all over the glass - especially on the offensive end, and used quick jumping and timing to score on put back after put back. He was thumping his chest and yelling out etc.
Sure it was only one game, but he looked every part the stud.

fats is not comparing coleman to may in terms of talent. coleman had as much talent as any big man in the past 30 years. fats was simply comparing coleman and may in terms of work ethic, taking the game for granted, playing overweight etc...

Yeah he does have some moves I won't deny that but he is out of the nba when his contract is up. He is actually alot like AMMO. Just can't play D whatsoever so will probably never make it.
The 4's these days are to talented and to fast for him. Because of that they make him look like it looks like a pro playing and for that I say he is not talented enough for the nba. He was huge in college but in the pros there are guys bigger stronger and still alot faster.

He was very good a couple of years ago in the games that he did play. I remember the last game he played in that season. We were down by two and he hit a game winning three-pointer against the kings (assisted by Felton).
If he ever get's his act together he can be great. The last season he played, he wasn't great defensively, but he was rebounding and stroking the mid-range jumpshot. He reminded me of Zach Randolph that season. He can post up fairly effectively and has great hands around the basket.
12 pts, 7 rebs, and 2 asts in 24 minutes is nba talent in my book.
