Bynum injured vs Memphis

Apparently Bynum went down with a right knee injury tonight. Reading the Laker's Boards, they said it looked bad. X-rays negative but MRI tomorrow. The fans were reading Kobe's face and said his look tells the story. They are expecting the MRI to likely show ligament damage and may be gone for the year is surgery.

I dont like players to get injured, and dont cheer for it. But this might be cosmic justice. Take away Bynum and the Lakers dont win a title. Fate?

It's too bad he got hurt, the hit on Crash was dirty, but more due to stupidity than malice.

i could never root for a player to get hurt.... now rooting for okafor to punch him in the face right after it happened, thats another story.

hopefully bynum's knee is OK. i want to see the lakers at full strength the playoffs start. i want to see all the playoff teams at full strength when the playoffs start (unless we make in, and in that case, i hope they are all injured).

If it really is an ACL or whatever that would also be disproportionate... Wallace is going to come back. Also, I have Bynum on my fantasy team, so now I want to kill myself.

Funny you should say that Paydro. I tried very hard to trade for him a couple of weeks ago in my keeper league. Luckily the coach that has him is a tool bag and wouldn't give him up.

P.S. I hope his knee isn't too banged up. The NBA needs more quality bigs like him on the court.

It was a collision with Kobe of all people! Really seems to wreak of karma doesn't it? But depending on the angle, it may very well be just a sprain. See what the MRI shows.

Slam, it is not intended for this to get dirty. Just very interesting that this would happen less than a week after the Crash incident, and to him of all people.

Click on the Bynum interview where he's talking about the injury, he's up beat and so far it doesn't seem all that serious but the MRI will give us a better idea on how long it will take for him to get back.
By the way glad G.W. is out the hospital and doing OK, hope he gets back in a uni soon so you guys can make that playoff push your only 3 games out..................the Bobcats can do it.

You have a Hall of Fame coach, and fine talent at every position I don't see why it can't be done. Good luck the rest of the way.

I don't want him to be in pain but I would like if he would be out for the rest of the year. Maybe that would make him think twice next time. I normally feel sorry for injured players but not for the dirty ones sending others out of court. Don't want to start any flame thread but after all i think i can say such a thing i said on our own board. At least I hope.

Well I guess since its' your board you can say it, but hoping that a player is injured for the rest of the year is pretty classless, regardless of what board you're posting on.

BTW, glad to see that Wallace is out of the hospital. Hopefully he'll be back in action soon.

Hey fat you and Slam are good peps, as well as a few other posters on here.... Props.
As far as what happened to both players, nobody ever wishes or should wish bad on anyone.
Hopefully both players will come through their injuries and have a full recovery.

Yeah, I just read that on YahooSports. Says MRI results still pending but he will be out 8-12 weeks. Hope no surgery needed. But glad he will be sitting at least as long or longer than Crash. Justice is served.
