Who Has Been The Best Bobcats Vet?
Take into account their contract, their influence on the court and their influence off the court.

I went with DA. I thought you could really see the impact he had when he was on the court. We'd play better as a team and with more confidence.
Then, going to or coming from time outs, you could really seem him being a big brother to guys like Felts, Hammer etc.

I'm gonna go with DA. Smith was a great guy to have as well, I remember when he was really our only player that could get any respect from the refs, every expansion team needs a guy like that (although not all of them get one) and we were fortunate to have him around. DA just contributed more on the court in addition to intangibles. There was a lot of talk about him possibly coaching after he retired because of how well he understood the game. I wonder if he ever attempted to pursue that or not.

Would have been a landslide if I had included him - so I left him out. I was thinking more vets that are on the down swing that are brought in as mentoring role players rather than our best offensive weapon (how sad is it that Bell is currently our best offensive weapon!!)

I CAN NOT and WILL NOT participate in a survey of this nature that does NOT include one of the best bobcat veterans and influential pieces to a 33 (around there) win team!! I mean, without him..we might have actually won between 35-40 games!!!....HOW CAN YOU LEAVE OFF ...JEFF McINNIS?!?!?!?!?!?!
I was a huge Jake fan..first guy off the bench to high five the team during a time out..stood up at all times to congratulate guys. The ULTIMATE team guy...my best memory of Jake...I don't remember who it was against but Jake actually played enough minutes to FOUL OUT of the game (impressive huh?) and when he got his 6th foul..the "Hit the Road Jack" music came on!!!! AT HOME!!!!! It was quickly turned off and he took his seat at the end of the bench (where he grew accustomed to sitting)...haha.
Seriously though...I'd be inclined to say Howard if I knew more insight as to his helping with our YOUNG frontcourt!...If I knew for a fact that he was teaching and mentoring, I might have to go with him. However, since I don't really see the behind the scenes..I have to go with DA cause you actually saw him talking/mentoring the guys.

Steve Smith- Would have been the best of them, but he was only here a 1/2 year.
Derek Anderson- far and away the best. called out teammates, played hard, etc.
Juwan Howard- has been OK, but he doesn't really have much left. He has done in his time what I was honestly hoping Harrington would've done.
Jake Voshkul- I honestly liked him. I was kind of suprised that he didn't pick up his player option last year (i believe).
Othella Harrington- Injured, overpaid, nothing left. The fact that this team gave him a guaranteed 2 year/$4mil contract AFTER Chicago WAIVED him will forever astonish me.

I double clutched on McInnis. Wrong guy, wrong team, wrong lifetime! Glad it was tongue-in-cheek!
I also have to go another way. For all of the controversy this will cause (not the least of which, I'll sound like Ham)... I have to say that Brevin Knight contributed more on a longer term basis than any of the above...to date. Ask me next year at this time, and if he is still on our roster, I might swap over to Howard. But for now Brevin is the guy. (Ducking the thrown shoe! Now.)
In loving memory of Barbara Hickman Taylor 07/20/1955-11/27/2010. Rest in Peace Sweet Lady!

Yeah but Brevin Knight would have been too obvious. He started the bulk of the first year or two.

Well McInnis is rumoured to lock Sam Vincent out of locker room in halftime of one match. That should make him eligible
