I'm still pissed off by that loss on Tuesday so I hope we crush these guys tomorrow night...

On a side note: At least I get to meet the Lady Cats before the game as part of the "Lady Cats Ticket Deal"...

so, do we take a page out of our own book "how not to defend dwight howard", by the charlotte bobcats... or do we try a different strategy this time?

He's not known for passing well out of a double - in fact, if anything his high turn over rate has always been a knock on him.

See how single coverage goes for a little while and if that aint working I say double him hard.

Just got to make sure that if we do, the other Bobcats rotate on D.

Love the dunk bar popping out of the meter on Howard.

Remember the terrible game Howard had against us in the game before Tuesday, Maybe his worst all year.

Yeah last tuesday was a tough loss but i think we'll play with a chip on our shoulder and maybe get some help from the refs this time around? I think the matchup between dwight and emeka is not dependant on each of their performances as much as how fast they both pick up fouls. They usually end w/ a similar amount since they both play pretty physical on one another. The real factor in this game will be our bench vs theres. We saw what happened last game with that matchup so hopefully geralds still in attack mode and gets some of their starters in foul trouble.

I'm actually making the trek up to Charlotte to see this game, should be exciting!

Anyway I think we might have a good chance in this one. We nearly won IN Orlando and Wallace has adapted rather quickly since his first game back. Plus I'm fully not expecting Dwight to have another career night against us.

So I'm thinking we should play Augustin a little more. He was hot against them Tuesday and since their point guard defense is still atrocious there's no reason for me to believe that it won't happen again tonight. And I'd even like to see a little more Augustin & Felton out there together, that is unless Bell gets hot. It would put an another driver on the floor to draw more fouls against Dwight and it shouldn't hurt us defensively due to them not having any offensive threats in the backcourt. Anyway should be another fun game!

Is Felton a lock down defender?

-- Naturally, much of shootaround was spent talking through ways to contain Orlando center Dwight Howard. He posted 45 on the Bobcats Tuesday night, but coach Larry Brown didn't necessarily think his big men strayed from what he expects of them in post defense. Howard was just that good.

Brown emphasized staying attached to Howard, who is such a good athlete his cuts across the lane can lose a defender. And try to limit his catches close to the basket.

I wonder if Rafer is playing for them tonight? Felton has never played him especially well...

But Rafer loves to shoot, so anyone taking shots away from Dwight is fine with me

In the hallway following shootaround, Brown shouted out to point guard Raymond Felton, "Guess I have to put up with you at least a few more months.'' Felton shouted back "Yes, sir!'' looking very pleased he wasn't dealt due to his restricted free-agency this summer.

Maybe he will give us a discount after all.

Oh, I REALLY want to win this game tonight...and I expect us to. Raja has had a couple of games to get back into shape so I hope he can be a much bigger contributor this time around.

Agreed. Not only do we really want to win, but we really need to win.

Raja started looking better as Wednesday's game rolled on. Hopefully that was a sign of things to come.

I was thinking he struggled a little bit coming off the first groin injury so maybe it'd be the same here. It looked like he was starting to find his stroke in the last game...so I'm hoping he'll give us another threat this time around.

Yeah this game + next weeks road trip will be crucial. If we lose we're prolly out of the race. If we go 4-1 we'll be in great shape to take that spot. I'm praying for a winning streak :D

I'm hoping that Alston is not ready for tonight. Since the trade was late yesterday, hopeing he still has to pass his physical and all that crap. Would much rather Orlando be short handed. The heck with sportsmanship. We owe them payback for giving away the game a few nights ago.

I don't think he is playing till Sunday.
