Anybody worried about Bulls/Knicks?

They have both gotten significantly better. Bucks im sure are gonna lose the 8th spot.
Are we better then the Bulls and Knicks?
I think this thing is a 3 horse race with us NY and Chicago.
The Bobcats desperately need to be in the playoffs.

The Knicks added Wilcox and Hughes. Call me crazy, but that's no biggie.

The Bulls added Miller (who is currenlty and often injuried), Salmons (who might not get much burn until next season when Gordon is gone) and Thomas (who might not see the light of day).

I'm not at all worried about the Knicks. The Bulls have added some depth. All in all, I'm not that worried. The only thing that I will worry about will be us playing to our maximum potential. We can control that. Can't control what other teams do.

The Bulls improved significantly in my opinion. And the Knicks did improve some without doing damage to their 2010 cap goals. I worry about both of them as we have to pass them both, along with NJ and the Bucks if we are to get to #8.

Wilcox running could be a decent center and the Knicks have made it this far with no real guards. No they have Hughes.
I don't worry about the Bucks. I know there record isn't bad but Bogut and Redd no more I don't fear them.

On paper is great, but lets look at reality. Wilcox is in contract year playing just like he does any other year. He could help in the Knicks system, but his stats are mostly empty stats. Its like a very mild version of a guy averaging 25 points per game for a team that loses 60 games a year.

Then there is Larry Hughes. Mind you, hes better then any player they gave up yesterday. But thats not saying much.

Bulls got better in one trade, meh in the other.

Whats more interesting to me is that the Knicks have 12 guys total right now and Starbury is one of them. You've got to think that Patrick Ewing Jr will get signed, but who else?

Not sweating bout either. I don't think either team got THAT much better. Hughes will prolly do well in dantoni's system but they'll still have the same **** defense and an okay offense. Chicago seems like they added something, but i don't think salmons will be that great considering the opportunities given to him in sacramento will not happen in chicago. I see them as deperation trades to try to get them past us and into that 8th spot.

I think the Knicks got the most help. Wilcox has provided better production than recently, and his minutes will go up in NY. Hughes can be a productive player and will clearly assist this team. The Knicks have some pieces, and now added better pieces than they traded. If they can blend in with Lee and others, the Knicks become a real competitor for the playoffs.

Chicago was already on the upswing. Salmons will be a contributor, and Miller could become a factor if he can stay healthy.

Bottom line, it's a dogfight (or Catfight)! The Bob's are better and getting even better, but we've got a lot of teams to climb over.

So who are we racing against? I believe the Knicks and Bulls are 2 teams in the race.

Granted we did get better in the Radman and DIaw trade the other 2 got better and are way more talented then us.
Bobcats are gonna have to win it on the defensive end.

I totally agree. Just worry about what you can control and getting done what you need to get done. Then hope that everything you can't control falls into place.

Well it just so happens that during our stretch right before the Lakers' game where Crash got attacked we were playing with the 4th best defense in the League.

If that's what the deciding factor is then I like our chances.

Detroit is falling off as well. I think coming down the stretch this is going to be interesting. I see 6 teams total, not just the Knicks and Bulls, that are going to be battling for the last 2 spots. Thankfully our roster looks good enough to help us stay afloat in the contention.

That's what I was thinking. Aside from... Harington and Lee(?) who do the Knicks really got? I could see the Bulls getting a lot better with Miller but that's only if (and a HUGE if) Brad can stay healthy.

Miller is nice, but Salmons was the big catch for Chicago. He gives them another explosive scoring threat. I wanted him in a Charlotte uniform.

Miller is a nice addition. I don't see where Salmons fits in, at least now. What is he, the 4th guard? The Bulls have talent but lack chemistry and leadership. I don't see Vinny Del Negro leading them to the playoffs.

The Knicks are also talented but don't play any D. The Bucks are the Bucks. I think we have an excellent chance as long as we stay healthy. (Crash)

Harrington 21 points
Lee 16 12
Robinson who has been on a tear lately 16 points
Wilson Chandler 14 points
Duhon 8 dimes
Plus Curry when he gets healthy

If there not more talented there the same.

Hey Dexmor, didn't you used to be Star24? I thought you were a Laker fan? I remember you lobbying Odom for RJ repeatedly all summer.
