http://www.rufusonfire.com/2009/2/24/76 ... -realizingVery interesting take on the Bobcats. Makes you think, makes you mad, and then makes you think some more. What is your reaction?

Here's another mark of realizing you're headed for the lottery:
> Within days after the trade deadline your team loses 2 games in a row.
> Within a week after the trade deadline your team's chat board is dead.
> A full week past the trade deadline your checking draft prospects more than your current team's stats.

This is the most sad part. We were so active, everyone was generally getting along. I figured at the very least the OT thread would see activity. Depressing.

Everything they say is completely accurate.... and really summarizes how I feel about things. I have not been posting much lately (though I have been reading) because of how inevitable it all seems. It's not quite root-to-lose yet, but we're not far.

I was looking at the schedule, and what's funny is, we've won 3 of our last 6. I think everyone has just been disappointed because we didn't really compete against Orlando or Houston. The situation isn't dire, but they need to get back to playing with the same sort of intensity they had right before Wallace got injured. Their defense doesn't seem up to par lately, and our offense is as bad as usual. It would be nice to get a win against Phoenix tonight, although that may be unlikely; it would help everyone forget about the losses to Orlando and Houston, we'd be picking up a win we probably shouldn't have, and it would give us some momentum heading into an easier stretch (Atlanta is about the toughest team we play in the next two weeks).
We knew this was going to be a tough week, and we're still only 3 games back in the loss column of the 8th spot. The team just needs to turn things around and get back to playing at the level they were.
As for the article, I didn't read it; I thought it was going to be about our demonic mascot, and when I realized it wasn't about that, I felt too let down to read any of it.

Everything seemed to be going well after the J-Rich trade. Until injures set in. I don’t now if this team forgot how to play with each other or if there is some big relief no one got traded or what. Maybe “They are who we thought they were” in November.

Hamilton the optimist...I like this version!
I'm with you. We saw how this team looked right before Crash got massacred, and there's still time to get back to that.

Hopefully the team will give us all a reason to be optimistic with a win tonight vs Phoenix!

WHA, WHA, WHAAA.....
Sorry, another loss. Call it folks. Our team is done for this year (relative to the playoffs). I know we will be a better team next season, but it will soon be time to play for next year. That means playing Ajinca a LOT, play DJ a LOT, and finding a SG our there from D-league to see what they can produce (James White??). Let's get these raw rooks experience versus grinding our guys into salt (except for McMay ... get his lard butt our there to move the ROI needle to .005).

I don´t think we are done yet,our schedule the next 11 games could easily be a 7-4,and Bucks,Bulls and Pacers have difficult matches,we can be just 2 victorys ahead of the playoffs
