The alleged Joe Smith trade

Just a quick question, and apologies if this has already been bought up, but there are reports that we actually traded for Joe Smith (OKC), but the trade was rescinded. When did this alleged trade take place??
Does anyone have any ideas about who the Cats were sending to OKC???

Probably just another person that got the Charlotte Bobcats confused with the Hornets.
Joe Smith was in the Tyson Chandler trade that eventually got rescinded.

Here I am thinking that maybe there was almost something and then it fell through, and it turns out its just another idiot who hasn't yet realized that the Hornets left Charlotte SIX YEARS AGO.
Why can't there be someone dumb enough to ask "why would New Orleans trade Tyson Chandler* to itself? And then fail the trade?"
*Thunder play in Okalhoma and the Hornets did.
