At the game tonight, not only did we beat LA, again. But we also set a franchise record with 19,568 in attendance. I know LA being our opponent helps draw fans, but we've hosted them before. The difference? WE are for the first time ever playing meaningful games at the end of March and first 2 weeks of April. Games which will impact our ability to make the Playoffs. This is increasing fan interest, attention and attendance. And that is a major WIN for this franchise! Congratulations to the Bobcats!

I mean, I was always a firm believer that fans would come to the cable box if a product worth watching was taking the floor

Getting a bigger fanbase is going to increase our wins at home by a significant margin. We had a huge crowd and impressed with an even huger victory. Everyone in the building except laker fans loved that show. Even if we end the season on an 0-4 run people will remember this game.

Yeah, this works both ways. If the franchise wins, the crowds are going to show and the if the crowds show, the Bobcats may benefit from a greater home court advantage. So a lot of positives from tonight, hopefully a major night in the building of this franchise. This is a hard working, high character team that the "average fan" can appreciate. If the Bobcats continue to build on this success I am sure the city will embrace this franchise.

It was beautiful to watch, I saw on television, the fans will continue to show up as long as we put a good product on the floor.
